Kanye West defended his comments on termination after claiming that he and ex-wife Kim Kardashian considered aborting their first child, North, in the third and final part of his jeen-yuhs documentary on Netflix.

The Praise God rapper made headlines around the world when he broke down in tears on stage during a rally in 2020, during his rollercoaster run for presidential election.

At one point, he became emotional as he told the crowd that they considered not going ahead with the pregnancy in 2012.

‘My mom saved my life. My Dad wanted to abort me… My mom saved my life, there would have been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy,’ he said through tears on stage. ‘I almost killed my daughter.’

In the third part, which dropped on Netflix today, he could be seen discussing his outpouring during a studio session in Wyoming – with Justin Bieber among those in attendance.

In the footage, filmed in 2020, he said: ‘Y’all trying to make me look crazy for crying about abortion? I’m a “crazy man”, everybody’s calling me like, “I hope you’re okay”. Man, the world ain’t okay. Sick motherf**kers.

‘If somebody said, “I just got an abortion” on TV, y’all will be like, oh man, that’s cool. If I said that my dad almost aborted Kanye West and Kanye West almost aborted North West and I’m crying about it, you want to make me look like I’m motherf**king crazy.

‘It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t even matter. For two years, they tried to say that I weren’t a billionaire.’

Ye could then be seen speaking to dad Ray West over the phone in a later scene, who voiced his fears for the Grammy-winner after the speech.

‘You’re doing okay, right?,’ he questioned. ‘I’m just concerned about you.’

The Gold Digger musician replied: ‘Well, when you go out and say things like “No abortion”,  you know how the media’s gonna be. That’s a very strong, Christian statement. Christians are scrutinized and killed for our beliefs and following the word of God.

‘I use my voice, and I won’t not use my voice. Because my voice is even more powerful than my finances. So they can’t control me with the finances.’

Taking a beat, Ray simply replied: ‘I’m just saying, write your speech next time.’

Kanye previously issued a public apology to Kim – who is now legally single – after speaking about their private moments on stage.

In his speech, the rapper recalled the moment they considered aborting daughter North, now eight, and explained: ‘In the Bible, it says, “Thou shall not kill”. I remember that my girlfriend called me screaming and crying, and I was just thinking, because at that time I was a rapper I was out there, [had] different girlfriends and everything… and she said, “I’m pregnant”. And I said, “Yes!” And then I said, “Uh oh”.

‘She was crying… and for one month and two months and three months, we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand.

‘I’m in the apartment where my wife was actually robbed, and I have my laptop up and I have all of my creative ideas, I’ve got my shoes, I’ve got my next song cover… and the screen went black and white. And God said, “If you f**k with my vision I’m gonna f**k with yours”.

‘And I called my wife and she said, “We’re gonna have this baby”, and I said “We’re gonna have this child”.’

The former couple welcomed North together in 2013, and later added to their brood with sons Saint and Psalm, and daughter Chicago.

They tied the knot in 2013, but their marriage broke down last year, with Kim filing for divorce last February.

A judge granted her request to be made legally single on Wednesday, bringing their marriage to an end.

Jeen-yuhs is available to stream on Netflix now.
