Is it too early for Christmas adverts – cast your vote
Christmas may be more than a month away but already some businesses have begun airing their festive adverts.
Supermarkets have already started putting out their Christmas collections, with party food, decorations and even Christmas cards already on the shelves.
Marks and Spencer and Argos have already released their Christmas adverts, and fans are eagerly awaiting more.
M&S fans have been delighted by the famous faces in their advert this year which features Hannah Waddingham, Sophie Ellis-Bexter, Zawe Ashton and Tan France.
One of the most hotly anticipated adverts is John Lewis’, which excites shoppers year after year.
For some festive fans, the Christmas season doesn’t begin until they see the Coca-Cola advert on TV, for others as soon as it turns November 1 it’s the countdown to December 25.
But a few have said it’s too much too soon.
Twitter user LucyHudson93 tweeted: “I would prefer it if Christmas adverts, music and decorations were only allowed from mid December until 26th December. Surely adults shouldn’t be excited about it anyway? I haven’t been excited about it since I was about 12”.
While Jordon_22 wrote: “And so it begins. I’ve seen 2 Christmas adverts already and it’s 9:43am on 1st November”.
However Twitter user Sharon43068108 said: “Just seen a few Christmas adverts on the tv gets you excited when you start to see them x”
And meghanfryerxxx echoed this posting: “Been watching TV for about 10 mins & already seen 2 Christmas adverts loooove it”.
So what do you think? Is it all too much too soon, or can you not get enough of the Christmas season?
