Paris Fury featured on BBC Breakfast on Wednesday morning and chatted to hosts John Kay and Sally Nugent. Paris opened up on her relationship with her famous boxer husband Tyson Fury, detailing his past struggles with mental health. She detailed how she attempted to support her husband through a challenging period of his life, but confessed it wasn’t easy.

“For me it was a constant battle with Tyson. Obviously he had his own demons and he was really depressed.

“He suffered mental health problems for about four years. He’s had it all his life, but really deep for about three or four years.

“Then it was me always trying to support him, always trying to be that person.

“If anyone’s been with somebody with mental health problems you’re always trying to support your partner and it is really hard to do that,” she explained.

“There were some really dark times,” Paris confessed.

“That’s tough for you as well,” John said, with Paris replying: “There was times when I wanted to run away to be honest.”
