Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton fronted the hit Channel 5 programme Summer on the Farm with Escape to the Country’s Jules Hudson during the summer. The duo, who hosted the live programme from Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire, welcomed a number of faces to the show including Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen.
Amanda has worked alongside Helen in the past, offering her words of wisdom to the mum of two.
However, in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Helen has opened up about their friendship.
When the duo meets up, the TV presenter said they mainly talk about parenting and their children.
Helen began: “We just talk about our kids and what are the kids doing and who’s at what stage and all of that sort of stuff.”

The Countryfile presenter went on to add she recently issued some advice to Amanda’s eldest son, Ruben.
She continued: “We were talking about Ruben as he just started socialising and going out.
“Ironically it is where I used to go out and socialise as a teenager.
“And I’m like ‘you wanna try here and you wanna try there’.”
Helen also spoke about the challenges Amanda faces while running Ravenseat Farm and bringing up nine children.
The host added: “The kids are really nice and normal and well-positioned members of society.”
“It’s not like you’ve got nine feral kids running around.
“She has got lovely kids and a lovely family and a successful business.
“So yeah, I’m not sure how she does it but, I think that’s what people are fascinated by.”

Amanda runs Ravenseat Farm with her husband Clive Owen and their nine children.
Their Channel 5 reality series, Our Yorkshire Farm, follows the couple as they go about the day-to-day running of the farm.
However, it hasn’t been all plain sailing for the husband and wife who have struggled along the way.
During the programme, the 46-year-old often openly talks about the challenges of farming.
Helen, who also grew up on a farm, went on to admit she is always asking Amanda for “advice and tips”.
“She is a woman that I can learn a lot from so whenever I see her, I’m always asking her for advice and tips and stuff like that.”
Channel 5 has seen the success of many farming-themed shows including the likes of The Yorkshire Vet and Our Yorkshire Farm.
Helen believes the secret to their success is that it “celebrates the hard work of farmers”.
The host explained: “People are very into sustainability. People know what’s going on in the world, they know what we have to do.”
Countryfile airs on Sunday at 7pm on BBC One.
