Harry and Meghan Lifetime movie star shares rare behind the scenes photos

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive story will soon play out on screen once more in a new film called Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace.

The TV film is due to be released this September, and actress Sydney Morton – who will portray Meghan – has given her followers a sneak preview of the highly-anticipated movie on her Instagram Stories.

The 36-year-old shared photos of herself on set alongside Jordan Dean, 34, who will be playing Prince Harry.

The first pic she shared showed the leading stars on a pair of chairs in a garden to mimic the set of the bombshell interview between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Oprah Winfrey in March.

Another photo shows Meghan laying on the floor in Harry's arms on the stairs in a moment described by Meghan during the interview with Oprah, in which she told of her suicidal thoughts prior to attending London's Royal Albert Hall for a Cirque du Soleil performance.

In another snap, Sydney can be seen looking like the Duchess’ double, dressed in a green dress and fascinator like those typically worn by Meghan.

The film’s synopsis reads as: “Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace reveals what really happened inside the palace that drove Harry and Meghan to leave everything behind in order to make a future for themselves and their son Archie.

“The movie will detail Meghan’s growing isolation and sadness, their disappointment that ‘The Firm’ was not defending them against the press’s attacks and Harry’s fear that history would repeat itself and he would not be able to protect his wife and son from the same forces that caused his mother’s untimely death.

“Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace will also reveal the private family feuds between Will and Harry, Kate and Meghan, and Harry with Will and Charles, that lead to the ultimate break from the royal ties.”

It is not the first time that Harry and Meghan's lives have been reimagined for the silver screen, and two movies were previously released in 2018 and 2019.
