Gogglebox's Sophie Sandiford shares incredible childhood throwback with brother Pete

GOGGELBOX'S Sophie Sandiford looks totally unrecognisable in a throwback snap with her brother Pete.

The reality star, 24, took to Instagram on Thursday evening to pay tribute to her sibling's 27th birthday.

Sophie shared an adorable photo of the pair in retro 90s attire with her 262k followers.

The northern lass looked cute in a plain yellow t-shirt, blue jeans and some sunglasses in her hand.

While Pete donned a green t-shirt, matching tracksuit bottoms and some velcro trainers.

The reality favourite, who works in insurance when he's not on the telly, had a huge grin on his face whilst wearing a cool snapback cap and some matching sunglasses.

Sophie captioned the post: "Happy birthday to the best big brother in the world! May there be many more years that I make you dress up in silly costumes, we laugh, cry and scream our heads off.

"Where ever life takes us, I hope we remain best friends forever. Wishing you all the happiness the world has to offer. Love ya r kid💙 @sandifordpete."

Her followers flocked to the comment section to wish Pete a happy birthday and tell her how much they love their relationship play out on screen.

One wrote: "Aw u guys !! 💙💓 Myself and my husbands fav duo on google box 👌 never change 👌happy birthday Pete !"

Another said: " This world needs more real honest, sincere relationships, like you two"

A third commented: "Adorable. Happy birthday Pete! You two have me howling with laughter every week. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻"

While a fourth added: "Happy Birthday Pete 🥳🥳 Thanks for making me laugh every damn week 😂🎉🎁🎈🎉"

The dynamic duo from Blackpool first hit our screens back in 2017 for the 10th series of the popular Channel 4 show – and have been firm favourites ever since.

Their playful relationship, which consists of taking the mickey out of each other, having a laugh and drinking endless cups of tea, has certainly been a hit with viewers.

Earlier this month it was revealed that the show was thrown into chaos after Boris Johnson put the UK back into a second lockdown.

This means that certain stars of the show might not be able to film with other family members due to them not being in the same household.

Leeds sisters Ellie and Izzi Warner are from separate homes and last lockdown meant that Ellie's boyfriend Nat had to join her on the sofa instead.

The Siddiqui's were also hit in lockdown 1.0 when dad Sid, 73, was forced to isolate away from his two sons, Umar and Baasit.

However, fans of the show can be rest assured that Sophie and Pete aren't affected as they both live together.

Although it's not known if the siblings, who actually have another brother and sister who don't appear on the show, still live at home with their parents.
