Good Morning Britain fans called Piers Morgan "rude" during Tuesday's show when he interrupted Laura Tobin in the middle of a science segment.

Sharing groundbreaking images, the ITV weather expert was discussing the Mars rover mission which saw Perseverance land on the far-flung planet last week.

Laura started to describe the momentous journey from earth to Mars, but Piers cut her off in the middle of the chat.

Over on Twitter, viewers were disappointed, as they had hoped to hear Laura finish her segment on space travel.

Taking to their keyboards, certain fans called Piers "rude" and suggested he ought to let his co-stars speak while on the show.

"Sorry Laura, I can't hear you.. #GMB," wrote one.

A second added: "#gmb sorry Laura, they'll land when, I could hear because Piers was waffling, talking over you."

And a third wrote: "@Lauratobin1 peirs [sic] rudely interrupt want you was saying about getting the samples home, I heard 5 years collect but then never heard how long until journey home."

"Was enjoying you Mars Perseverance info till that clown started interrupting. Rude attention seeker. Pull him aside and tell him to afford you some professional respect," griped a fourth.
