EastEnders viewers have a BIG problem with Frankie Lewis' exit scenes | The Sun

EASTENDERS viewers were left furious over fan favourite Frankie Lewis' rushed exit after two memorable years on the BBC soap.

Frankie Lewis – played by Rose Ayling-Ellis – revealed to dad Mick Carter that she is thinking of leaving the square to move the Scotland this week.

The new teaching assistant is moving with a family to Scotland to help teach their deaf daughter Esme.

Mick told his daughter to move if it will make her happy.

She told him that she feels like she is making a difference which prompted Mick to tell her to go.

However fans were not happy about Franke's rushed exit.

Taking to Twitter, one said: "Frankie's exit is so rushed. She deserves better."

Another wrote: "Wait what! Esme's dad had asked Frankie to relocate with them from London to Scotland because he's been so impressed with all her hard work & help.

"But she only started in the job about a week ago, 2 at tops! So how can he say that. It literally makes no sense."

A third penned: "Too soon to lose Frankie."

Rose first appeared as Frankie in EastEnders in 2020 searching for her dad.

She was part of a harrowing storyline about child abuse when she found out Mick was only 12 when she was born.

She supported him through his court case when her mum was found guilty.

More recently, Frankie was sexually harassed during a night out and decided to report it to the police.

But there was little they could do due to a lack of identify and description.
