EastEnders spoilers: Max exposes Sharon's murder secret and Tina's innocence

Max Branning (Jake Wood) will be giving his best impression of Hercule Poirot on next week’s EastEnders when he accuses Sharon Beale (Letitia Dean) of foul play.

Having cast himself in the unlikely role of an Albert Square sleuth, Max will be seen growing ever-more determined to get to the truth about the recent attack on Ian (Adam Woodyatt).

With the beleaguered Mr Beale having fled Walford, Max quizzes both Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) and Sharon about his whereabouts.

But the pasta-baking femme fatale is in no mood to be interrogated and fires back that Max just wants to prove Tina’s innocence in order to get back into Linda’s (Kellie Bright) good books.

Later on, in the Queen Vic, Max is infuriated by the sight of Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda together and the fact that Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) and Bobby are handing out Missing Persons flyers with Ian’s face on them.

As tensions bubble up, and Kathy and Sharon go head to head, Max lobs a grenade of his own into the middle of their argument. Just how will Sharon react when Max openly blames her for the attack on Ian? Will his claims be believed? Find out when EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday 1 February at 8.05pm.
