EastEnders fans notice Bailey Baker location blunder as she’s finally found
EastEnders favourite Bailey Baker (Kara-Leah Fernandes) was finally reunited with her family during Monday night's episode.
The youngster had run away from home after discovering that Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) and Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) weren't able to afford to feed her last month.
Mitch and Karen weren't getting any closer to finding Bailey, despite the wider public appeal on television.
However, schoolgirl Amy Mitchell (Abbie Knowles) knew about Bailey's whereabouts, which Denise Fox (Diane Parish) got suspicious about.
Denise spotted Amy hanging around in the market and believed that she was up to no good, resulting in her own little investigation.
She followed Amy until she reached the allotments and saw her with missing Bailey, before taking them back to the Square.
Fans of the BBC One soap were left wondering why the Albert Square residents didn't check the allotments sooner.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "I'm kind of surprised that nobody has not already checked down the allotment. After all, Over the years, the allotment has been a refuge for countless waifs and strays."
Another added: "Considering everyone and everything lost always ends up in the allotment shed you would think that’s the first place to look."
A third person posted: "Can’t believe it. They’ve searched the whole of London and she’s on Arthur Fowler’s allotment."
While a fourth social media user said: "The allotment, finally Bailey's turned up hiding there; Walford's favourite hiding place."
Bailey returned to the Taylor flat with open arms, with Mitch crying and promising her that their financial issues will soon be over.
Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) also told the family that she has a bonus coming.
Bailey bumped into Amy last week and Jack's daughter told her that her family were angry with her for leaving home.
Instead of helping Bailey, Amy shouted "Where have you been?" – before going on to say "you're in so much trouble. The police are looking for you. Your dad and Karen are furious."
