Dog the Bounty Hunter's beloved wife Beth Chapman tragically died on June 26, 2019 – but she would have turned 54 today (October 29).

To honour the reality star, Daily Star is taking a look at what Duane "Dog" Chapman and his family, who appeared on his namesake show, are up to now.

For the most part, the series took place in Hawaii or Dog's home state of Colorado.

After eight seasons of the show, the network A&E cancelled it.

Dog and his wife, Beth Chapman, then starred in a spin-off series, Dog and Beth: On the Hunt on CMT, before that series ended in August 2015.

A brand new spin-off, which is titled Dog's Most Wanted, premiered in September 2019.

Another show, Dog Unleashed, was set to be released this year but streaming service Unleashed cancelled it before it premiered.

Duane "Dog" Chapman

Duane, or "Dog" as he likes to be called is the self-confessed "greatest bounty hunter in the world".

In his career which spans more than 40 years of chasing the bad guys who failed to show up to court, he has made more than ten thousand captures!

Referring to himself as the "king of comebacks" he is a born-again Christian who once served time in a Texas prison and got his nickname from being associated with the motorcycle gang, Devils Disciples.

He once said: "I am what rehabilitation stands for."

The past few years have been troublesome and turbulent for Dog, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

His fourth wife, Beth, who we speak about in a moment, sadly passed away a few years ago.

But Dog has found love again and has recently revealed the date he is due to marry his fiancée Francie Frane.

He will marry Francie two years after the death of his fourth wife Beth Chapman.

Appearing on the podcast Two Guys From Hollywood, he said: "I am getting married- I'm going to drop the bomb on your show."

He then revealed the date: "September 2nd,

"We went to the venue and picked it out yesterday and looked at it- man it costs a lot to get married, my God…

"Francie's husband passed away over three years ago. Beth passed away over two years ago and I felt very bad to even wanting to have someone else after Beth…"

At the beginning of August it was reported that Dog 'owes nearly $1M in unpaid legal fees stemming from his 2003 Mexico arrest'.

Dog's former lawyer is seeking to collect his alleged overdue payments, according to the legal documents obtained by TMZ.

Beth Chapman née Smith

Dog's fifth and most famous wife worked as the president of the National Bail Bonds Association in 2017.

Beth tried to make a difference in the bail bond industry and worked as a lobbyist when she and Dog retired from their positions at Da Kine Bail Bonds that made them famous.

Before some very tragic news towards the end of 2017, Beth was enjoying being a mother to her children, some still in their teens and a grandmother to her and Dog's many grandchildren.

On November 14, 2017, A&E announced that they would be airing a two-hour special called Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives.

Two weeks later the programme aired, which documented Beth Chapman and her family as she was fighting stage four throat cancer.

On June 26 2019, Beth passed away aged 51.

She died about a week after having lost consciousness and subsequently being placed in a medically induced coma.

Leland Chapman

  • The Crown set to 'delve into Prince Philip's relationship with Penny Knatchbull'

Leland was a heartthrob when he appeared on the show.

The heavily tattooed hunk is now in his mid-forties and is married to his second wife, Jamie Pilar Worley, and he remains close with his sons from ex-wife Maui Chapman.

He also posts photos regularly on his Instagram account of himself with his family, and with over 500,000 followers – they always rack up a lot of likes and comments.

Stepping into his father's shoes, Leland runs his own bail bond company, Kama'aina Bail Bonds.

Lyssa Chapman

Named after her mum, Lyssa is affectionately known as "Baby Lyssa".

The beginning of the smash hit series featured Dog, Beth, Lyssa and her two older half-brothers, Duane Lee Jr. and Leland, as they fought crime as a tight-knit family.

Lyssa got married and divorced to Braham "Bo" Galanti and had a baby, her second child, Madalynn "Maddy" Galanti – while the show was airing.

Earlier this month Lyssa kissed her fiancée Leiana Evenson as they celebrated their 5th anniversary.

The couple commemorated the occasion on Leiana's Instagram with an intimate photo of the two while visiting the Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens in Kaneohe, Hawaii.

It is thought that the star lives on the lovely island of Honolulu where she raises her two daughters and lives with her partner.

She also runs her own business, a tanning salon called No Tan Lines.

Tim Chapman

Tim Youngblood Chapman isn't actually a member of the Chapman family and isn't at all blood related to Dog.

His last name is just a coincidence although Dog and Tim refer to each other as "blood bruddas."

For five seasons Tim was Dog's partner in tackling crime, but in 2008 and 2009, Tim got arrested after he was in a car park for fondling himself in the backseat of a car.

Tim claimed it was a misunderstanding and has slipped under the radar ever since.

Duane Lee Chapman, II

  • Where Full House stars are now – prison time, drug abuse and whopping £365m net worth

Duane Lee Chapman II was born on January 21 1973 and in 2021 is 47 years old.

The star was raised in Pampa, Texas and rose to fame after appearing on his father's reality TV series Dog the Bounty Hunter.

He has steered clear of social media and does appear to have an active Instagram account.

In the final season of the series, he had a falling out with his step mum Beth, when he claimed that he was overworked by Dog and underpaid by Beth.

The family failed to reach a mutually agreeable solution so Duane Lee quit the show and moved to Florida.
