Three Coronation Street stars are set to take to the stage after announcing a live show of their podcast.

Colson Smith, Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price started their Sofa Cinema Club podcast back in 2019, but are now taking it to the stage for a live audience.

The Corrie stars took to Instagram to announce their live show, which will be held at the Lowry theatre in Manchester on May 11.

The Sofa Cinema Club is a film podcast where they ‘get together and educate each other about films’.

Their previous live show was a raving success, with tickets selling out within 48 hours.

In the announcement video, Ben Price, best known for his role as Nick Tilsley, joked that fans could enjoy ‘pre dinner’ with the trio ‘at Nandos next door’ before the show.

Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker, admitted that he was ‘bricking it’ about appearing on stage in front of a crowd, and urged people not to come.

‘Please don’t buy a ticket!’ He joked, with Ben agreeing.

All three actors are currently involved in some big Corrie storylines.

Craig Tinker has been supporting girlfriend Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) through her early menopause diagnosis.

Nick Tilsley is currently back living with mum Gail Platt (Helen Worth) after getting involved with Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) and being thrown out of the family home by Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and disowned by son Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan).

Jack P Shepherd’s character David Platt has been struggling after son Max Turner (Paddy Bever) was sent to prison for his involvement in Alya Nazir’s (Sair Khan) stabbing.

The trio are sure to be kept on their toes juggling filming with preparations for their live show, but we’re sure it is going to be an absolute blast.

Tickets for the live show are available to buy here.
