Coronation Street stars unite at 40 year age gap engagement party in strip club

Coronation Street star Chris Quinten celebrated his engagement to Robyn Delabarre by throwing a bash at his strip club.

Yes, the 61-year-old looked like his had a blast as he partied with his friends and family at The Secret Lounge, which he manages in Hammersmith, west London.

After sharing an open invite earlier this week, it seems the turn out was a success, as the actor posed with his fellow Corrie star Nigel Pivaro.

Meanwhile, his 21-year-old fiancée was twerking away with some pals before showing off her pole dancing moves.

But despite entertaining their guests, it seems the soon-to-be hubby and wife managed to get some alone time, as they were spotted sharing a smooch.

Sat on a red throne, the Brian Tilsley star clung onto his gal, who perched on his lap while planting a kiss on her man’s lips.

She later treated her beau to a dance, as she crouched on a table, before flinging her arms up in the air.

The couple looked all loved up as they cracked open the champagne and enjoyed the celebrations together.

Earlier this week, the pair sent out invites for the event, where they explained there would be a DJ on until late.

The venue was chosen by Chris, as it was the first place he laid eyes on the dancer and his future wife.

Talking about their relationship on This Morning, he explained: ‘I had no relationship with the girls in the club whatsoever, so I did not expect to fall in love with a dancer.

‘There was just something about Robyn’s demeanour and personality and when she told me she was a nanny I thought she was a really good person.’

He added: ‘I fell in love with her personality.’

The pair realised they had a lot in common, but decided to remain tight lipped about their relationship when they started dating.

Robyn revealed that her own parents are aged just 38 and 40, which is 20 years younger than her husband to be.

‘We had to keep it a secret which was really hard for me,’ Robyn told the hosts: ‘I had to lie to other dancers and my family.’

As for kids, Robyn is keen and Chris said he will give her ‘his blessing to find love’ after he dies.

In an interview with the Mirror, he said: ‘When I’m 90 I will be running around playing football with my future son.’

The bride-to-be added: ‘He only has daughters so I would like to give him a boy.

‘I put our age gap aside when it comes to thinking of children. It’s never going to work if I think about it, so I’m just going to try to have a baby.’

Chris has a 30-year-old daughter with ex-wife US TV host Leeza Gibbons and a teenage daughter with his former partner Alison Slater.

He also has a 26-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
