Kevin Webster (played by Michael Le Vell) begins to fear for his sister’s life when she falls unconscious after being locked in the fridge in the Bistro. Coronation Street fans will be on the edge of their seats as the mechanic does his best to keep Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) awake and moving but things don’t look good for his sibling.

Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) is none the wiser when Kevin and Debbie are locked in the Bistro fridge as she believes her partner is on a camping trip with son Jack.

However, she begins to suspect something is up when she hears Debbie went to the Bistro and never left.

She decided to investigate but when she arrives, the restaurant is locked. Despite yelling from Kevin, Abi leaves the Bistro unaware he’s inside.

It’s not until Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) reveals Kevin never turned up for the camping trip that Abi begins to worry.

Meanwhile, Debbie and Kevin have a heart to heart about their childhood as they try to stay warm and awake.

The police call at No.13 and confirm they’re no further forward in tracing Kevin and Debbie. With Abi at her wit’s end, she resolves to track them down herself.

Breaking into Bistro, she finds a contract signed by Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) handing over his money and businesses to Debbie.

However, Ray has told police he’s not seen Debbie and Kevin, insisting they must have run off with his money.

Abi tells son Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) about the developments into Debbie and Kevin’s disappearance and is urged to dig deeper.

As Debbie slips into unconsciousness, Abi enlists the help of Fay Windass (Ellie Leach) to look for clues.

The pair log on to the Bistro computer when they hear a noise from inside the fridge – it’s Kevin falling unconscious.

Abi breaks into the fridge with a crowbar and is horrified to find Kevin and Debbie, with hypothermia beginning to take over.

However, Miles collects Ray from the police station and hands over is passport and flight details.

As the businessman heads off for his flight to Turkey, it looks like he has evaded justice – will he get away with it?

Meanwhile, overcome with emotion and grateful Kevin is alive, Abi proposes to Kevin.

Thrilled, the mechanic accepts her offer and when they return to the cobbles, Abi shows off her ring to Seb.

Abi’s son congratulates the pair but with Debbie still fighting for her life, could the wedding be tinged with sadness?
