The young Coronation Street couple shared a brief romance before Nina (played by Mollie Gallagher) decided that Asha (Tanisha Gorey) wasn’t mature enough for her. Asha has tried to move on since, but it’s clear she’s stuck on Nina, and fans of the ITV soap are set to see her take drastic measures once she realises Nina won’t get back together with her.
In upcoming scenes, Nina confides in her eccentric uncle Roy Cropper (David Neilson) that she’s worried about her ex, who seems like she may be going back to trouble-maker Corey Brent (Maximus Evans).
Fans will know Corey broke Ash’s heart before and sent her in a downward spiral of trouble.
The two started a relationship around the same time Asha was going through devastating body image struggles.
When he broke up with her, she attempted to get him back by undressing on an online video chat, which Corey recorded.
Asha was mortified when the video ended up on social media after a spat with her friend Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson).
The pair eventually managed to fix their relationship and get back together, and Asha’s dad Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) even came round to the two as a couple after initially being against it.
But Asha soon ended the relationship after Corey’s teasing and mocking of her made her feel worse.
She soon struck up a relationship with Nina, but since things ended between the two a few weeks ago, Asha has found it hard to let go.
Following this, Asha has spoken to Dev about how she blew her chances with Nina, who was the one who made her happy.
Coronation Street: Grace is locked in a security office by guard
The two have spoken in recent episodes and agreed to hang out as friends, but was Asha hoping for more?
Meanwhile, Nina and Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) have since been getting close, but as things escalate, Nina starts to have second thoughts about their relationship.
In future episodes, viewers will see Nina reluctantly telling Seb they need to cool their relationship as they’re hurting Asha.
However, Seb soon wins Nina’s round and she agrees to a date.
With her ex moving on so quickly, Asha could easily be feeling vulnerable enough to go back to Corey, although she knows he isn’t good for her.

Asha could decide to take extreme measures and expose Nina’s sexuality to Seb.
If Nina hasn’t done so herself, a vengeful Asha would certainly be hurt enough to take action, and she might unveil all to Seb, who could be unaware.
This would destroy any hope that the two can remain, friends, as they recently agreed, and with Asha not being one to sit back and watch things happen, it’s likely the teen may try to meddle in Nina’s love life.
But with the vulnerable teen having struggled so much recently, will Corey fuel her insecurities again?
Since finding happiness with Nina, her body image issues have been kept at bay, but Corey was never hugely helpful to her in the past.
When she finds out Nina is dating Seb, she’s bound to be even more hurt than before and, falling back into Corey’s grasp, may take a downward turn.
Will Nina be able to help her or is the pair’s relationship soon to be damaged beyond repair?
Coronation Street continues at 7.30pm on ITV tonight.
