We're approaching the end of 2021, with just four months to go, and, sadly, we’ve waved goodbye to some much-loved stars this year, including Rolling Stones' Charlie Watts and Gerry and the Pacemakers’ Gerry Marsden.
In 2020 we said goodbye to many incredible stars, including Caroline Flack and Barbara Windsor.
Saying goodbye to our heroes and the stars we admire is never easy, and it’s important to take a moment to remember them.
They leave behind a legacy which will never be forgotten by friends, families and fans, and their contributions to the world will be enjoyed for years to come.

Walter Smith dies aged 73 as tributes pour in for ex-Rangers and Everton boss
Rangers legend Walter Smith died aged 73 on October 73, the club announced.
In a statement, Gers chairman Douglas Park said: “On behalf of the Rangers board of directors, staff and players, I convey my deep condolences to the Smith family. Walter leaves behind a wife, children and grandchildren, all of whom are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
“It is almost impossible to encapsulate what Walter meant to every one of us at Rangers. He embodied everything that a Ranger should be. His character and leadership was second to none, and will live long in the memory of everyone he worked with during his two terms as first team manager.
“I spoke with Walter as recently as last weekend. Even when he was battling illness, he was still able to provide advice and support.
"For that, I am personally grateful. I know that he continued also to maintain dialogue with senior members of staff, including our manager, Steven Gerrard."

Friends legend James Michael Tyler who played Gunther dies aged 59
James Michael Tyler, who shot to fame as barista Gunther in hit sitcom Friends died aged 59 on October 24.
The actor passed away at his home in Los Angeles earlier today, a representative confirmed following a battle with advanced prostate cancer.
A spokesperson for his family said: "The world knew him as Gunther (the seventh 'Friend') from the hit series Friends, but Michael’s loved ones knew him as an actor, musician, cancer-awareness advocate, and loving husband."
They went on to say: "Michael loved live music, cheering on his Clemson Tigers, and would often find himself in fun and unplanned adventures. If you met him once you made a friend for life."
Deon Estus dead: Wham! and George Michael bass player dies aged 65
Wham! and George Michael bass player Deon Estus died aged 65 on October 11.
An announcement shared on his official Twitter account read: "It is with real sadness I post that Deon Estus passed away this morning.
“Deon was mostly known as the third member of Wham! Deon was passionate about music and loved interacting with his loyal fans.”
Deon was most famous for playing with the pop group Wham! and George Michael in his solo career.
The star also co-wrote the hit 1989 song ‘Heaven Help Me’ with George Michael, which went on to be a Top Five hit in the United States.
Alan Lancaster dead: Status Quo bassist dies aged 72 at his home of 45 years in Australia
Status Quo bassist Alan Lancaster died on September 26 following reportedly suffering from Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Lancaster's close friend and entertainment reporter Craig Bennett confirmed the news of his passing on Facebook.
He penned: "[I] am heartbroken to announce the passing of Alan Lancaster, British born music royalty, guitar God and founding member of iconic band, Status Quo.
"Despite having MS and issues with his mobility, Alan participated in hugely successful reunion tours… He bravely played to thousands of adoring fans..and loved being back with the band and his loyal Quo army."
Willie Garson dead: Sex And The City Stanford Blatch star dies at 57
Willie Garson, the actor who played Stanford Blatch in Sex And The City, on September 21.
He was set to perform as the character once again in the upcoming Sex And The City reboot called And Just Like That…, and he was pictured on set alongside Sarah Jessica Parker on July 24 in New York.
According to TMZ, he had been battling cancer.
His credits included shows such as Mr. Belvedere, Coach, Quantum Leap, Party of Five, and Friends, before he took on the role of Henry Coffield in NYPD Blue from 1996.
Fashion designer Tom Ford's husband Richard Buckley dies aged 72
Fashion designer Tom Ford's husband, fashion journalist Richard Buckley died at the age of 72 on September 19.
He had been in a relationship with Ford for 35 years.
Richard, who underwent surgery for throat cancer in 1989, passed away of "natural causes", and was surrounded by family at the time of his death.
Norm Macdonald dead: Saturday Night Live star dies after secret cancer battle
Comedian Norm Macdonald, best known for appearing on Saturday Night Live, died at the age of 61 on September 14 following a nine-year cancer battle.
Norm's producing partner and friend Lori Jo Hoekstra said: "He was most proud of his comedy. He never wanted the diagnosis to affect the way the audience or any of his loved ones saw him.
"Norm was a pure comic. He once wrote that 'a joke should catch someone by surprise, it should never pander.' He certainly never pandered. Norm will be missed terribly."
The star first became known to fans when he made his debut on the iconic comedy show SNL 1993. The star then left the show in 1998.

Michael K. Williams dead: The Wire Omar actor dies aged 54 in apartment 'with drug paraphernalia'
The Wire actor Michael K. Williams was found dead in his apartment in Brooklyn, New York on September 6.
The 54-year-old, who played Omar Little in the gritty US crime drama, was found in the living room by his nephew after suffering a suspected drug overdose, according to reports.
The five-time Emmy nominee achieved mainstream fame and praise in 2002 for his role on The Wire as Omar, a stick-up man who robbed street drug dealers.
The actor also appeared on The Sopranos briefly during season 3, playing Ray Ray, who let Jackie Jr stay with him during some troubled times.
Sarah Harding dead: Girls Aloud singer dies aged 39 following breast cancer battle
Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding died following a battle with breast cancer aged 39 on September 5.
Sarah’s mum Marie confirmed the heartbreaking news on her daughter’s Instagram page: "A message from Sarah's mum
“It’s with deep heartbreak that today I’m sharing the news that my beautiful daughter Sarah has sadly passed away. Many of you will know of Sarah’s battle with cancer and that she fought so strongly from her diagnosis until her last day. She slipped away peacefully this morning. I’d like to thank everyone for their kind support over the past year.
"It meant the world to Sarah and it gave her great strength and comfort to know she was loved. I know she won’t want to be remembered for her fight against this terrible disease – she was a bright shining star and I hope that’s how she can be remembered instead."
Andy Michael dead: Gogglebox star dies age 61 after battling short illness
Gogglebox star Andy Michael passed away at the age of 61, Channel 4 and Studio Lambert confirmed on August 27 on behalf of his family.
The fan-favourite first appeared on Gogglebox on the very first episode in 2013, but announced their departure in 2014.
The Michael family had to leave the show because Andy was standing as a UKIP candidate.
However, he failed to secure the Hastings and Rye seat, so the family decided to do more episodes.
The statement, given to the PA news agency, said: “We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Gogglebox star Andy Michael at the age of 61 following a short illness.
“Andy passed away last weekend with his family by his side.”
Rolling Stones' Charlie Watts once punched Mick Jagger in the face, Keith Richards says
Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts died at the age of 80 on August 24.
A statement from his publicist, Bernard Doherty, read: “It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie Watts.
“He passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family. Charlie was a cherished husband, father and grandfather and also, as a member of the Rolling Stones, one of the greatest drummers of his generation.”
Watts joined Rolling Stones in 1963 after it was started by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
Rolling Stones went on to have 13 UK No 1 albums, including critically adored likes of Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street.
Mary Cook dead: Gogglebox legend dies aged 92 as Channel 4 pay tribute
Gogglebox star Mary Cook died at the age of 92 in hospital with her family by her side.
The Channel 4 series issued a statement on behalf of her family, saying: “We are extremely saddened to share that Gogglebox star Mary Cook passed away in hospital this weekend at the age of 92 with her family by her side.
"Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend to many, Mary, who worked in the hospitality trade, had been married and widowed twice.
"She will be dearly missed by the entire Gogglebox family, cast and crew.
"Our love and thoughts are with Mary’s family, friends, and Marina. The family have asked for privacy at this sad time."
Mary was a regular on the show alongside Marina, who lived with her in the St Monica Trust retirement home.
The pair won over fans with their hilarious quips and rude sex talk.
Sean Lock dead: 8 Out of 10 Cats comedian dies aged 58 from cancer
Popular comedian Sean Lock died on August 18 at the age of 58, after a battle with cancer.
The 8 Out of 10 Cats star's death was announced in a statement by his agent at Off The Kerb Productions.
Sean died surrounded by his family at home.
The statement went on: "Sean was one of Britain’s finest comedians, his boundless creativity, lightning wit and the absurdist brilliance of his work, marked him out as a unique voice in British comedy."
Una Stubbs dead: EastEnders and Sherlock star dies aged 84 after illness
Actress Una Stubbs died at the age of 84 on August 12, following an illness.
Her agent confirmed that the former soap star died surrounded by her family while at home in Edinburgh.
She was known for appearing in the likes of EastEnders and Sherlock, as well as Worzel Gummidge and Till Death Us Do Part, but she first found fame in Sir Cliff Richard's film Summer Holiday in the 1960s.
Pat Hitchcock, daughter of the 'Master of Suspense' Alfred Hitchcock, dies at 93
Alfred Hitchcock's daughter Pat died at the age of 93 on August 9.
The actress was known for titles such as Psycho, Stage Fright and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Her daughter Katie Fiala confirmed the news, explaining that Pat died at home in California.
Pat was born in London in 1928 but moved to the US when she was 10 – however she said she was raised as an English child.
Chucky Thompson dead: Bad Boy Records producer dies aged 53 as tributes pour in
Bad Boy Records producer Chucky Thompson died at the age of 53 on August 9.
The Hip-hop star's publicist Tamar Juda wrote on Twitter: "It is with a very heavy heart that I can confirm the passing of Chucky Thompson.
"To anyone in his orbit, you know how generous he was with his energy, creativity and love.
"Both the music industry, and the world, has lost a titan."
In an additional tweet, she wrote: "I'll miss you so very much, Chucky. And thank you."
Dennis Thomas dead: Kool & the Gang founding member dies aged 70
Kool & the Gang member Dennis Thomas died in his sleep at the age of 70 on August 7.
The band's official Facebook page released a statement confirming the sad news, referring to the much-loved star as "Dee Tee".
The group were known for iconic songs such as Get Down On It and Ladies Night.
Tributes began pouring in immediately for the popular musician.
Anthony Barajas dead: TikTok star dies aged 19 days after California cinema shooting
TikTok star Anthony Barajas died at the young age of 19 after being the victim of an unprovoked shooting at a cinema on July 26.
He had been watching a screening of The Forever Purge when a man opened fire inside the movie theatre.
Anthony was taken to hospital and put on life support and sadly died from his injuries on Saturday, July 31.
Merengue singer Johnny Ventura dies aged 81 after suffering a heart attack
Merengue singer Johnny Ventura died at the age of 81 after suffering a heart attack on July 28.
His son Jandy confirmed: "The Ventura family is proud of all the legacy that my father could have left, we have our heads held high."
Following Johnny's death, Luis Abinader, president of the Dominican Republic, declared July 29, 30 and 31 days of national mourning.
Dusty Hill dead: ZZ Top bassist dies in his sleep aged 72 after hip injury
ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill died at the age of 72, his bandmates confirmed on July 28.
The musician had previously suffered a hip injury.
It caused him to drop out of a number of shows with the band across the US, and it wasn't revealed whether the injury was linked to his death.
Dusty was one of the founding members of ZZ Top, and was also a vocalist in the band.
Joey Jordison dead: Former Slipknot drummer dies 'in his sleep' aged 46
Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison died aged just 46 on July 26.
His family announced that the musician had died in his sleep, though no cause of death was released.
Previously, he was diagnosed with acute transverse myelitis which stopped him being able to walk or play the drums, however he was able to beat the neurological disease with hard-work, therapy and rehabilitation.
Tom O'Connor dead: Legendary comedian and game show host dies aged 81
Comedian Tom O'Connor died at the age of 81 on July 18, after a 14-year-long fight with Parkinson's disease.
He was known as a game show presenter, fronting shows such as Crosswits and Name That Tune.
His daughter-in-law, ex-athlete Denise Lewis, confirmed his sad death.
Piers Morgan was among those who paid tribute, as did BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker.

Robert Downey Sr dead: Iron Man's dad dies aged 85 after lengthy Parkinson's battle
Robert Downey Jr's father died at the age of 85 on Wednesday, July 7, after suffering with Parkinson's for a number of years.
He died in his sleep at home in New York.
Robert was a filmmaker, actor, writer and producer, and had appeared in titles such as Magnolia, Boogie Nights and To Live and Die in LA.
His most recent screen appearance was in 2015 in Saturday Night Live, though his cameo was uncredited.
Jonathan Coleman dead: Australian TV icon dies aged 65 following prostate cancer battle
Australian TV icon Jonathan Coleman died aged 65 after a four-year battle with prostate cancer on July 9.
Coleman had an hugely successful career in both Australia and the UK on TV and radio.
He started off his career as a presenter on the afternoon children's program Simon Townsend's Wonder World in 1979.
Coleman then had stints at Triple J and Triple M, before heading over to the UK to continue building his radio career.
Most recently, he's been a firm fixture on Australia's Channel 10's morning show, Studio 10.
Chris Eubank’s son Sebastian found dead on Dubai beach with dad “devastated”
Chris Eubank's son Sebastian died in Dubai aged 29 on July 9.
The mixed martial arts fighter was found dead on a beach.
Nicknamed the Alka Lion, Sebastian followed his dad and older brother Chris Jr into the sporing world, but his life has cruelly been cut short.
Speaking on his son's heartbreaking death, boxing icon Eubank Snr said: “Never did I ever imagine I would write these words or experience the feeling I now have at the loss of my son.
"My family and I are devastated to hear of the death of Sebastian just days before what would have been his 30th birthday."
Suzzanne Douglas dead: The Parent 'Hood actress dies aged 64 after cancer battle
Actress Suzanne Douglas died at the age of 64 following complications from cancer on July 6.
Suzzanne was best known for playing matriarch Jerri Peterson on The Parent 'Hood, but recently appeared in the Netflix series When They See Us.
She's also remembered for her portrayal of Cissy Houston in the Lifetime TV movie Whitney, which came out in 2015.
During her time on-screen, she had guest appearances on the likes of The Cosby Show, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Bones and The Good Wife.
She also played Tomika's mother in cult classic movie School of Rock in 2003.
Daniel Mickelson dead: Actor dies at 23 as celeb friend Kaia Gerber leads tributes
American actor Daniel Mickelson died aged 23, it was announced on July 5.
The screen star was an up-and-coming actor in America, having been cast in notable roles such as the horror film The Killer Clown Meets the Candy Man and 2019's TV series Mani.
His younger sister, Meredith Mickelson, confirmed his tragic death on Monday evening, announcing the budding actor died on Sunday, July 4.
"My heart is shattered & to write this feels so wrong and I don't even know what to say. Yesterday I lost my brother, best friend & the other half of my heart," she said.
"There wasn't a person I loved more on this earth. there's no words that can do him justice that I could write. to know him was to love him.
"He was the happiest brightest smiley most sunshine human to exist and I'm so happy God chose me to be his sister for his whole amazing life."
Pete McGarry dead: Gogglebox star passes away after short illness
Gogglebox star Pete McGarry passed away aged 71 in June 2021.
The TV favourite passed away following a battle with a short illness, according to Channel 4, which broadcasts the show.
A statement issued on behalf of the family said: "We are deeply saddened to announce that Gogglebox star Pete McGarry passed away at the age of 71 this weekend with his family by his side after a short illness."
McGarry, along with wife Linda and her son, George Gilbey, originally joined the Channel 4 programme for its second series in 2013.
They left the show in 2014 when George broke their contract to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house, in which he placed fourth.
They later returned to the programme for the seventh series in 2016 and have continued to appear as series regulars and firm favourites.
John Langley dead: Cops creator and producer dies after 'suffering heart attack'
John Langley, creator and producer of reality TV show Cops, died after suffering a heart attack in Mexico on June 26.
The 78-year-old was in the area competing in an off-road race, according to reports.
John was a fan of racing and created a Cops off-road desert racing team.
Cops premiered on Fox in 1989 and ran for 25 seasons, before moving over to Spike for a few years.
The show ran for another three seasons on Paramount Network and was cancelled last year following the death of George Floyd.
Johnny Solinger dead: Skid Row legend dies aged 55 from liver failure
Former Skid Row singer Johnny Solinger died from liver failure on June 26 aged 55.
Solinger revealed to his fans he was suffering from liver failure in May this year.
He wrote on his social media post: "It is with a heavy heart I must let everyone know what’s going on with me and my health.
"I have been hospitalised for over the last month. I have been diagnosed with liver failure. And prognosis is not so good.
"As with most musicians I do not have health insurance and it’s very difficult to get proper care without it."
Solinger was Skid Row's lead singer when the band reformed in 1999 after splitting three years earlier.
He left the band in April 2015 and was replaced by singer Tony Harnell.
Mike Amatt dead: Ex-BBC children's presenter and Mop and Smiff creator dies aged 71
Former BBC children's television presenter Mike Amatt died on Monday, June 28 at the age of 71.
The talented star was best known for his role in Playschool, which he wrote and starred in.
In addition, Mike illustrated and created the cartoon characters Mop and Sniff for the popular 1980s show of the same name.
He also starred as himself alongside the sheepdog and cat.
Lisa Banes dead: Gone Girl actress dies at 65 after being hit by scooter in hit and run
American actress Lisa Banes died aged 65 after getting struck by a motorised scooter in a hit and run on June 14.
The screen star, known best former roles in box office hits Gone Girl and Cocktail, was hospitalised on June 4 after being hit by a scooter as she walked across a pedestrian crossing.
She suffered from a head injury, and subsequently died on June 14.
Lisa's big break came in 1984 when starred in The Hotel New Hampshire, and she went on to star opposite Tom Cruise in the romantic drama Cocktail.
More recently, she played Marybeth Elliott – mother to Rosamund Pike's Amy Elliott – in the David Fincher adaptation of the novel Gone Girl.
Ned Beatty dead: Superman, Network and Toy Story 3 actor dies in his sleep
Hollywood actor Ned Beatty passed away at the age of 83 on June 13.
Ned has appeared in many iconic movies like Superman, Network and played the character Lotso in Toy Story 3.
He is known as one of the most respected actors of his time, and played Lex Luthor's sidekick in Superman as Otis in the 1978 film and sequel two years later.
In Network, he played Arthur Jensen and was only on set for one day for his 6-minute scene.
Rapper Lil Loader's death confirmed as devastating last social media post emerges
Dallas rapper Lil Loaded died on May 31 aged 20.
Authorities had not yet confirmed how Lil Loaded, real name Dashawn Robertson, had died when this article was written.
He had been arrested on suspicion of murder back in October 2020, after the shooting and killing of 18-year-old Khalil Walker.
Loaded was charged in March 2021 with one count of manslaughter after the teen died.
According to court records, the rapper was due in court the first week of June for an admonishment hearing.
Tarzan: The Epic Adventures actor Joe Lara dies in horror plane crash aged 58
Tarzan: The Epic Adventure actor Joe Lara died aged 58 in a plane crash on May 29.
The star had been travelling with his wife Gwen Shambling Lara and five other people near Nashville when the incident took place.
Joe became a household name in 1989 after landing the lead role of Tarzan in CBS film Tarzan in Manhattan.
He reprised the role for two years in 1996 for a spin-off TV series.
He also appeared in American Cyborg: Steel Warriors, Warhead, Armstrong and Doomsdayer.
Shane Briant dead: Hammer Horror legend dies at 74 from 'long and terrible illness'
Hammer Horror film legend Shane Briant died aged 74 from a "long and terrible illness" on May 27.
Briant studied law at Trinity College Dublin, but went on to become a professional actor and novelist.
The actor was best known for starring in Hammer Films productions; Straight on Till Morning, Demons of the Mind, Captain Kronos – Vampire Hunter, and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell.
He also played one of the lead roles in Children of the Wolf, alongside Sheelagh Cullen and Yvonne Mitchell at London’s Apollo Theatre.
As well as TV shows and movies, Briant also published seven novels in Australia and one in the United States.
Robert Hogan dead: The Wire actor dies at 87 from pneumonia complications
Actor Robert Hogan, best known for his TV roles in shows like The Wire and Law & Order, died aged 87 on May 27 after suffering complications from pneumonia.
The screen star was best known for his roles in cult TV shows like The Wire, Murder, She Wrote and Law & Order.
His career spanned six decades, and he starred in some of the best-loved TV shows of the decade, including M*A*S*H, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Operation Petticoat.
Robert appeared in over 100 different TV shows, and also landed parts on Days of Our Lives, Another World, and The Young Marrieds.
Kevin Clark dead: Actor who played School of Rock drummer dies after being struck by car
Kevin Clark, the actor who played drummer Freddy Jones in School of Rock, tragically died after being hit by a car while cycling aged 32 on May 26.
School of Rock, which starred Jack Black, came out in 2003 and was his only movie credit.
Kevin was just 14 when he was cast in the role, but he later decided to abandon acting for music.
He focused on his career as a professional drummer, and played in several bands throughout his career.
His most recent endeavour was as the drummer int he group Jessie Bess and the Intentions.
Samuel E. Wright
Samuel E Wright dead: Little Mermaid 'Sebastian the Crab' star dies aged 74
Samuel E. Wright, who lent his voice to Sebastian the Crab in Disney classic The Little Mermaid, passed away aged 74 on May 24.
As part of his iconic role in The Little Mermaid, Samuel performed the lead vocals to Under The Sea, which was later awarded the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
He also played Kron the Iguanodon in the 2000 Disney live-action film Dinosaur.
Outside voice acting, Samuel was also a keen stage performer, and played Mufasa in the original run of The Lion King on Broadway.
Rainbow legend Freddy Marks dies just five years after marrying co-star
Musical legend Freddy Marks died at the age of 71 on May 20.
He was best known for starring in children's programme Rainbow, which ran on TV screens from the 1970s to the 1990s.
Freddy and the other cast members appeared alongside Bungle and Zippy as they regularly played catchy tunes for children.
Back in 2016, Freddy married his co-star Jane at London’s Claridge’s hotel.
Jane was also previously married to bandmate Rod Burton.
Romy Walthall dead: Face/Off and House Of Usher star dies from heart attack at 57
Actress Romy Walthall died aged 57 on May 19 after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.
Walthall's career launched when she won the Mother/Daughter USA pageant in 1980, going on to sign for elite agency Ford Models.
After touring Europe for shoots she discovered a passion for theatrics, and returned to Los Angeles where she started working as an actress.
Her big break came when she was cast in Thief of Hearts in 1984, later landing a role in A Bunny's Tale.
She also starred as John Travolta's secretary Kimberly in the cult classic Face/Off.
Walthall also enjoyed success on the small screen, appearing in shows like The X-Files, Love Boat: The Next Wave and Man of the People.
Charles Grodin dead: Beethoven and The Heartbreak Kid actor dies at 86 after cancer battle
US actor and talk show host Charles Grodin passed away aged 86 on May 18, after a battle with bone marrow cancer.
He was best known for his roles in films like Beethoven and The Heartbreak Kid.
In the mid-90s, he also landed his own talk show, The Charles Grodin Show on CBNC, giving voice to issues of the day.
In the years that followed Grodin stepped out of the spotlight to become a stay-at-home dad to raise his two children.
Tony Armatrading dead: Notting Hill star dies from cancer as tributes pour in
British actor Tony Armatrading passed away from cancer aged 59 on May 10.
Armatrading was best known for appearing in Notting Hill, and also had a role in a series of Star Wars video games.
He enjoyed an impressive career which included a string of TV appearances including on Channel 4 soap Brookside and iconic police drama The Bill.
As well as his TV roles, he also had a role in the blockbuster film The Saint.
Tawny Kitaen dead: Actress and OJ Simpson mistress dies aged 59
Actress and media personality Tawny Kitaen died aged 59 on May 7.
Tawny was an American actress who played Tom Hanks’ girlfriend in the 1984 film Bachelor Party.
She also starred in the likes of erotic-adventure flick The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik-Yak Witchboard, White Hot and Dead Tides.

Digital Underground lead singer and rap legend Shock G was found dead in his hotel room at the age of 57 on April 22.
TMZ reported that his cause of death was unknown, but there were reportedly no signs of trauma.
The rap legend was famous for the song The Humpty Dance and his alter ego "Humpty Hump".
He was also famed for his collaborations with Tupac, featuring on his song I Get Around in 1993.

The TV legend shot to fame in 2006 when she took part in Big Brother 7 alongside Aisleyne Horgan Wallace and Pete Bennett.
Throughout her life, Nikki had battled insecurities and an eating disorder.
She was very candid about her relationship with food and bravely opened up about her struggles in 2009's Dying To Be Thin and later Fragile in 2012.
It is understood Nikki was receiving treatment at a private hospital when she passed away.

During his long career, he appeared in Steven Spielberg's 1941 and Joel Schumacher's 1994 hit The Client.

George Segal passed away on March 23 aged 87 due to “complications from bypass surgery”.
Fan will recognise him as Albert “Pops” Solomon on all eight seasons of ABC sitcom The Goldbergs.
He also famously starred opposite Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in 1967's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

He is best known for playing 10-year-old Walker Bobby, son of Will Ferrell’s character Ricky Bobby in the 2006 comedy film.

Hip-hop legend Prince Markie Dee, who was part of the 80s rap group The Fat Boys, died aged 52 on February 18.
The musician whose real name is Mark Anthony Morales had also been a successful producer and songwriter during his showbiz career, as well as the Vice-President of the Uncle Louie Music Group.
His group The Fat Boys were crowned the winners of a talent show at New York's famous Radio City Music Hall and by the time the 90s were approaching, they had quickly become one of the biggest names in rap.
The group went on to release a string of platinum-selling albums including their fourth record, Crushin', before starring in the comedy film Disorderlies in 1987.

Coronation Street star Frank Mills passed away aged 93 on February 11.

She was best known for playing shop owner Mary O’Leary in Channel 4’s Father Ted.
Rynagh was greatly respected across the Irish theatre scene and was also known for her directorial and writing skills.
In a statement, obtained by Dublin Live, the Abbey Theatre said: "We were deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of our beloved friend and colleague Rynagh O’Grady.
"We are thinking of her family and all who loved her.”

Singer Mary Wilson died at the age of 76 February 8.
Mary was best known for being one of the founding members of The Supremes at the age of 15.
The trio stayed together until they went their separate ways in 1977.

During the last few years Mary began returning to the spotlight. In 2019 she starred in the 28th season of Dancing With The Stars.

Hollywood legend Christopher Plummer died aged 91 on February 5.
Christopher spent the last 75 years as a stage and screen icon, appearing in more than 100 films.
He is perhaps best known for playing Captain John Von Trapp in the 1965 classic The Sound of Music.
Plummer went on to play the sinister Klingon General Chang in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country in 1991.

BBC Scotland star Andy Gray died from cancer at the age of 61 on January 18.
The actor played very popular character Pete in River City, which he sadly left in 2018 after being diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer.
Andy also appeared in a variety of other TV shows, including Naked Video, and City Lights.
He played a bank teller who dreamed of being a writer in the 1980s sitcom.

Music producer Phil Spector died at the age of 81 from Covid-related complications on January 16.
Phil had previously worked closely with some of the biggest names in the music industry – including The Beatles.
At the time of his death he was serving a 19 years-to-life sentence after he was found guilty of murdering Lana Clarkson.
Before going to prison, Spector had an incredibly successful career in music, producing the Beatles album Let It Be, and several solo records by the band's John Lennon and George Harrison.

Roy died in May 2020 aged 75 after complications from Covid-19, after which Siegfried said he had lost his “best friend”.

The Chicago-born star went on to play Alistair Crane between 2005 and 2008 in the hot show Passions, appearing in over 100 episodes.

Actress Marion Ramsey died at the age of 73 after a short illness on January 7.
The star was best known for playing Officer Laverne Hooks in all five of the Police Academy films.
Marion, who was born in Philadelphia, was originally a stage actor and starred on Broadway.
One of her most memorable roles was in the hit 1978 Broadway show Eubie!.
