Gwen Stefani announces engagement to Blake Shelton after five years of dating
Singer Gwen Stefani has announced her engagement to Blake Shelton after five years of dating.
The blonde bombshell, 51, shared a snap of herself holding up her hand to show off her ring as she kissed Blake in an adorable snap.
She simply captioned the snap: ""@blakeshelton yes please! gx."
The loved-up pair first met when they appeared on US talent series The Voice together, and have been together since 2015.
A source told People that the pair got engaged over the weekend while in Oklahoma.
Their happy news comes after Gwen revealed she and Blake had been spending all of their time together in lockdown, living with her three kids on his ranch.
The family have just moved into a $13million home in Los Angeles, as Gwen said: "We just moved.
"Yesterday we did Halloween decorating and cookies. It's nonstop creativity over here."
Gwen has sons Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, six, from her marriage to Gavin Rossdale, which ended in 2016 after 14 years.
Blake split from his country singer wife Miranda Lambert in 2016.
It's all systems go for the couple, as the pair are working on season 19 of The Voice, which will be airing huge format changes to adhere to social distancing rules.
The show will air without a studio audience and will also feature new safety measures to accommodate the singers and judges.
Gwen said that she thinks that the empty set "feels more intimate somehow. I feel like we're even more relaxed.
"There's so much talent this season, it's crazy. We're so lucky to be here and watch live music in front of us. I feel so inspired."
