Adele Debuts Heartbreaking Track To Be Loved and Its Music Video

The six-minute-plus video displays the ‘Easy on Me’ hitmaker belting out the sad lyrics while sitting comfortably on a couch in what appears to be a living room.

AceShowbizAdele continued to treat her fans to new music ahead of her new album release. A few days before “30” arrived, the “Someone Like You” hitmaker dropped a heartbreaking song called “To Be Loved” as well as its music video.

In the six-minute-plus clip, the 33-year-old musician can be seen belting out the lyrics while sitting comfortably on a couch in what appears to be a living room. She is accompanied by a live piano that is played off-camera.

“To be loved and love at the highest count/ Means to lose all the things I can’t live without,” the mother of one sings in the chorus. “Let it be known that I will choose to lose/ It’s a sacrifice but I can’t live a lie/ Let it be known, let it be known that I tried.”

The track has left many fans devastated. One person in particular lamented, “This song just hits me hard I’m bawling my eyes out. Someday,I’d have the courage to choose myself.” Another individual added, “The only song that made me cry real tears this year.”

“To Be Loved” is one of the songs off Adele’s new album, “30”. The new studio effort also features “Easy on Me”, “I Drink Wine”, “Hold On” as well as “Love Is a Game”, which she performed during her “Adele One Night Only” event on CBS.

The piano ballad is the only one on the album that she wrote along with Tobias Jesso Jr. Tobias also co-wrote “When We Were Young” and “Lay Me Down” from her previous album, “25”.

Following the early listen ahead of the official release of “30” on Friday, November 19, Adele managed to earn five-star reviews from music critics. Many have praised the English native for being so brutally honest about her divorce from husband Simon Konecki through her music.
