An online shopper was horrified after she spent £70 on a new coat from ASOS, only to end up looking like a Roald Dahl character.
Twitter user Jasminne shared her shock on Twitter after splashing out on the cute coat – only for it to go very wrong.
The coat was so oversized that pals warned her against going outside when it was windy to avoid blowing away.
She shared a pic of her outfit online, joking: "So pleased with my size 8 trench coat from Asos, the fit is impeccable."
Her coat resembles the ASOS extreme sleeve trench coat in stone – which is available for £70.
But the online version looks nothing like hers – which looked like it is at least four times larger than it should be.
Referring to Roald Dahl's famous character – the Big Friendly Giant, Jasminne added: "Think it's made for the bfg."
The classic book follows the story of an orphan Sophie who is plucked from her bed by the BFG and taken to live in a land with other giants, who are partial to eating children.
After tweeting about her horror, people rushed to tease her about her outfit.
One replied: "Oh my god hahahaha that’s gotta be a joke in what world."
Another added: "Omg Jas the size of the sleeves got me!!"
A third warned: "Don’t go out in the wind," while another joked: "How many are you hoping to smuggle into the cinema?"
It's not the first time that ASOS has suffered an outfit fail.
Fashion fans were left baffled after the company shared a picture of a model wearing a knitted crop top.
For £55, you don't appear to get much for your money – with people comparing the garment to a 'scarf.'
And people were baffled after it looked like a model was wearing a ring that said 'bagel.'
In a picture flogging their at-home manicure set, fans were left scrutinising the women's jewellery, which actually said 'angel.'
Meanwhile, Adidas fans were left divided after the sportswear company released a pair of 'sport-inspired Clogs.'
Many people were quick to mock the footwear – which bear an unfortunate similarity to Crocs.
One person tweeted: "…. ADIDAS CROCS LMAO."
Another added: "Idc but this is just a glorified croc with 3 stripes."
