Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’ Reportedly Spends Fifth Nonconsecutive Week At No. 1 On Billboard 200

According to Billboard, Midnights amassed 151,000 equivalent album units, with 89,000 consisting of SEA units, equaling 117.93 million on-demand streams of the set’s tracks. Traditional album sales saw a five percent increase, compared to last week, totaling 60,000 units.
The five nonconsecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 album chart for Midnights is the most for Swift since 2020’s Folklore, which spent eight weeks at No. 1.
According to Complex, Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss remained in second with 93,000 equivalent album units, despite a 22 percent decline from last week. Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti also stood pat at No. 3 with 52,000 units earned.
Spotify announced Bad Bunny became the most-streamed artist worldwide on the platform for a third straight week. Two of his songs off Un Verano Sin Ti, the Chencho Coreleon-featured “Me Porto Bonito” and “Tití Me Preguntó,” finished fourth and fifth on the most-streamed songs globally.
Swift and Drake were second and third, respectively, on the most-streamed artist worldwide list.
The awards and accolades keep rolling in for Swift, who became the top-awarded artist in the history of the American Music Awards last month, according to USA TODAY, after winning in all six categories that she was nominated, including Artist of the Year.
“In the past few years, I have released more music than I did in the entire decade preceding that, and I really feel like that’s down to the fact you, the fans, made it clear that you wanted to hear lots of music that I would make,” Swift said during her Artist of the Year acceptance speech. “You encouraged me.”
