Mum-of-22 Sue Radford says illness is ‘sweeping’ through UK’s biggest family

Sue Radford, mum to Britain’s biggest family, revealed that a sickness was spreading round the packed family home – and several kids have fallen ill.

Noel, 49, and Sue, 45, live in an ex-care home in Morecambe, Lancashire with 19 of their 22 children.

The big brood are stuck in lockdown just like the rest of us, but theirs may be a little more chaotic.

Speaking on their YouTube channel, Noel said this week: “Bad news is we think there is a bug going round the house. Caspar the other day was a bit sicky.

“Heidie has been a little bit sick this afternoon and now Katie is sick, but she has had it really bad.

“She’s had a headache, she really does feel awful bless her.”

Sue added: “So hopefully it doesn’t sweep through everybody but it is probably not looking good is it?”

The family seem to be holding up so far, but late last year Noel and one of his daughters tested positive for coronavirus.

They temporarily had to close the family's pie business as a result.

Back in November, Sue said: “It was impossible to leave it open so we had to close.”

The parents live with all of their children bar their eldest two, Christ and Sophie.

Plus, there’s an extra addition as daughter Millie gave birth to her first child, Ophelia, in September 2020.

Sue and Noel’s children include: Chris, 31, and Sophie 26, Chloe, 25, Jack, 23, Daniel, 21, Luke, 20, Millie, 19, Katie, 18, James, 17, Ellie, 15, Aimee, 14, Josh, 13, Max, 12, Tillie, 10, Oscar, nine, Casper, eight, Hallie, five, Phoebe, four, Archie, three, Bonnie, two, and Heidie, nine months.
