Mila Kunis Just Wore Those Awful $600 Sneakers That Refuse to Go Away
Regardless of how many bodyguards under their employ or how sophisticated their security detail, there's one thing celebrities will seemingly never be safe from: thinking Golden Goose sneakers are cool.
The intentionally dirty-looking shoes have been worn by Megan Fox, Reese Witherspoon, J.Lo, and so many other A-listers whose better judgement failed them. This week, the scuffed up (on purpose!) Golden Geese claimed an unassuming Mila Kunis as their latest victim.
Pairing a yellow-laced iteration of the sneakers with a sweater and sweatpants in the same dusty-rose color story, Kunis flaunted her membership to the GG club in a parking lot in Beverly Hills. A classic case of celebrity brain fog.
It's not just that the sneakers are made to seem like they've been kicked around a courtyard, it's that it'll cost you hundreds upon hundreds of dollars to get your hands on this supposedly desirable look. Couldn't the same be achieved by any old pair of gum soles on the soccer field for 30 minutes or so? Famous people seem to think not.
So while we dish out judgements on these $560 "dirty" shoes, Hollywood's biggest names continue to wear and buy them for the very artful distressing we sit here ridiculing. What do they know that we don't? Could there actually be something to the baffling shoes? We may never know.
Below, shop the Golden Goose sneakers addling celebrity minds — if you're brave enough to see what they're all about.
