Money Saving Expert star Martin Lewis is a regular on our TV screens in the UK.

He often appears on shows such as ITV's Good Morning Britain, This Morning and of course his own show – The Martin Lewis Money.

However, Martin isn't the only famous face in his family.

The 48-year-old's wife, Lara Lewington, is also a TV presenter.

Lara, 41, is a presenter on BBC's flagship technology show, BBC Click, alongside Spencer Kelly. She is also a columnist on a Women's magazine.

She formerly worked for six years at Channel Five as a weather presenter and showbiz correspondent, as well as featuring in a weekly sketch on ITV's The Impressionable Jon Culshaw.

Lara was a panelist on ITV's Win, Lose or Draw and has made appearances on Newsnight, Big Brother's Big Mouth, The Weakest Link and BBC's Let's Dance for Sports Relief.

The couple have been married since 2009 and share daughter Sapphire, eight, together.

Lara has quite a substantial online following – boasting 13,100 followers on Instagram and 45,100 Twitter fans.

Her Instagram is full of behind-the-scenes shots from BBC Click as fans also get to see the stunning outfits he wears.

Meanwhile, her Twitter is more titbits of info for fans about her daily life.

Martin also has an impressive social media following of 113,000 Instagram fans and a hefty 1.1million followers on Instagram.

The family were left shook last September when she Lara mugged in the street by a motorcyclist who swerved at speed before snatching her smartphone from her hand.

She admitted she was "gutted" to lose so many family photos, but was relieved she wasn't hurt and her daughter wasn't there to witness the horror.

Talking about the incident at the time, Lara said: "Last night whilst out walking, a motorcycle swerved at speed, and the pillion rider grabbed my phone out of my hand.

"As I felt someone behind me, for a split second I’d thought it was an accident happening and hoped the person was okay, then by the time I could turn around my phone was gone – with terrifying pace and accuracy.

"So focused on mask and hand sanitising these days, I guess I’d forgotten to be so vigilant about this. Obviously I was immediately grateful not to be hurt, and that my daughter wasn’t there to witness it – just a bit gutted I’d lost so many photos after a series of inexplicable backup fails."

Martin called the police and thankfully her phone was picked up by a passing cyclist who found it after it was dumped by the thieves.

It is rare that Martin or Lara posts about their famous partner though, with them instead concentrating on their own work.

Money expert Martin has also been in the press recently a he urged all drivers to check if their licence is in date – saying many could face a huge fine if theirs isn't.

According to Martin, around two million people have an expired driving licence and they may not be aware.
