We love hearing about celebrity side hustles, so we were very excited to be granted access to Kendall Jenner’s tequila distillery.

The model Kardashian gave fans a tour of her business via her social media, where she shared pictures and videos straight from where the spirit is made and bottled.

The 25 year old founded the company called 818 in February, and sales have been going through the roof, surpassing all expectations.

818 Tequila is named after Kendall's hometown area code, and features three varieties: Blanco, Añejo and Reposado.

Page Six previously reported that sales of the liquor sold out within four hours in some US stores.

Mike Novy, 818’s president and chief operating officer, told The Spirits Business the report was “accurate”.

“In that first week of launch, most stores that we went into sold-out anywhere from a matter of a couple of days to within the week,” he said.

Tequila is big business for celebs, and Kendall counts competition from the likes of George Clooney and LeBron James, who also have their own brands, with the former selling his to Diageo worth $1 billion.

However, currently, Kendall’s 818 is reported to be outselling them both.

Her chief op Mike continued: “The launch of 818 sold more volume to more accounts in the first 30 minutes than their next best Tequila launch had done in the first 30 days.

“We’re actually tracking to be one of the most successful spirits launches, not even Tequila launches.”

“To put it in context right now, in the first two months that we’ve been in business, we have orders for more cases of Tequila than we expected to sell in the first two years.”

Writing alongside the snaps, Kendall shared: "I had an amazing time at our distillery yesterday! I always enjoy getting to spend time with our wonderful team who make all of this possible, a true honor."

Cheers to that!
