Congratulations are in order for newlywed Ariana Grande – especially now details of her "intimate" nuptials have emerged.

The superstar married real estate agent Dalton Gomez in a secret, back garden ceremony "surrounded by hundreds of white and light pink florals" in California at the weekend, according to reports.

Confirming the marriage last night, a rep for the singer said: "They got married. It was tiny and intimate, fewer than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier."

The couple started dating in January last year and Dalton popped the question in December.

According to sources in the US, Ariana and Dalton said their vows in an informal ceremony on the grounds of a £5million home Ariana bought from chat show host Ellen DeGeneres in June last year.

It is in the celebrity enclave Montecito where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, live.

Ariana and Dalton were wed surrounded by hundreds of white and light pink florals, according to reports.

One source said: "The couple always wanted an intimate ceremony. That was something that was important to both of them. They wanted it to be private and it was always on the cards for summertime."

"It was beautiful but not over the top," the source added. "Ari wanted it to be simplistic and tasteful."

To make the moment even more special, the insider said each of their family members "made a special toast to the couple during dinner".

Ariana's new husband Dalton is said to have helped create the diamond and platinum wedding band he presented her with.

The real estate agent worked with jeweller Jack Solow on the wedding band for the 7 rings singer, a spokesperson told E News! on Monday.

"It's a beautiful, tasteful platinum and diamond pave band," the spokesperson for the jeweller said. "Dalton was very happy with it."

Ariana, 27, and Dalton, 25, only went public with their romance last May, when they appeared in her Stuck With U music video.

The real estate broker popped the question in December, and she said "yes" for the second time, following her engagement to Pete Davidson in 2018.

The source attributes her whirlwind romance with Dalton to the bond they forged during the coronavirus pandemic, saying: "Quarantine really solidified their bond and made them closer than ever."

Once they were engaged, the planning came together quickly because they were seemingly on the same page about several details, according to the insider, who says having a small ceremony was important to both of them.

"They decided to have the wedding this past weekend because their schedules are picking up and neither wanted to wait," the source says.

Ariana and Dalton's families were both in attendance for their nuptials, along with a few of their friends from both sides.
