Hailey Baldwin may never walk a runway show again
Hailey Baldwin may be retiring from the runway.
The supermodel, 22, must have been going through old photos of herself strutting the catwalk and stumbled upon some less-than-flattering angles. On Wednesday, Baldwin posted a photo of herself from a recent Zadig & Voltaire show and called herself out for poor form.
“What I do know is that ur arm truly should never wing this high when ur walking on a runway,” she captioned the shot, drawing a huge circle and question mark around her bent elbow. “Hence why it is not, and will never be my thing again lol.”
While Baldwin may be done with runway work, she’s certainly not giving up modeling altogether; the blond beauty is currently the face of BareMinerals, and recently starred in campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s, Roxy and more.
In 2018, Baldwin walked for Versace, Off-White, Dolce & Gabbana and Tommy Hilfiger in addition to Zadig & Voltaire; she has not hit the runway at all this year. Her fellow model Bella Hadid, meanwhile, has walked more than 20 catwalks in 2019 alone.
Other models with less famous last names often walk around 80 shows a season, a fact Kendall Jenner learned the hard way when discussing her own choice to be more selective with accepting runway jobs.
Though Baldwin is clearly making photoshoots work with her schedule, perhaps she’s simply looking forward to spending more time with Bieber.
The 25-year-old singer is currently taking a break from music to focus on his mental health — although he has performed at Coachella with Ariana Grande, released a single with Ed Sheeran and taken time to defend manager Scooter Braun amid his clash with Taylor Swift.
Seems like the couple will stick to the front row this September.
