An explosive trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s £88million Netflix docuseries dropped today – offering an intimate insight into the couple’s life together.

The Duke, 38, and Duchess of Sussex, 41, share an intensely personal collection of never before seen photographs in the teaser.

They include an emotional Meghan becoming tearful and the Prince and his wife posing up a storm in candid holiday snaps from their time in Botswana in 2016.

But along with the more memorable scenes on first glance, there’s a number of important moments that viewers might’ve missed when initially watching the one-minute-12-seconds clip.

Here, FEMAIL takes a look at the interesting details fans might not have spotted straight away…

HARRY ON HIS GUITAR

One image shows Meghan gazing at Prince Harry, while the Duke, who is not wearing a wedding ring, plays guitar. Both appeared relaxed, wearing sunglasses and comfortable t-shirts, in the photograph as they lounge about in the sunshine

In one photograph, Prince Harry can be seen with his hand around Meghan’s dog Guy, while a guitar is resting alongside them

Photos shared in the trailer provide an intimate snapshot of the couple’s life together – including one of Harry playing the guitar.

The unseen image – thought to capture the Duke and Duchess during the early days of their relationship – shows the mother-of-two gazing at Harry, while he plays guitar.

Both appear relaxed, wearing sunglasses and comfortable t-shirts, in the photograph as they lounge about in the sunshine.

Harry isn’t wearing a wedding ring in the snap, indicating the moment is from before they were married in 2018.

Another photograph shows the Prince resting next to a guitar, while his hand is affectionately placed around Meghan’s dog Guy.

It is believed the image was taken during the period in which Harry and Meghan first started dating, when she was still filming Suits. The image is likely to have been taken in Canada, where she was living while working on the show.

THEIR FIRST DATE? MEGHAN AND HARRY PHOTOBOOTH SNAPS

Another series of images taken before the couple were married shows them snuggling up with one another in a photobooth (pictured)

Another series of images taken before the couple were married shows them snuggling up with one another in a photobooth.

While it is unknown where or when the images were taken, one of Meghan’s favourite hang-outs, Soho House, has a famous photobooth in which patrons can snap pictures.

Soho House is an exclusive private members’ club that charges members £830 a year for admittance to one house and £1,500 for its ‘houses’ across the world.

Both Meghan and Harry are known to be a big fan of the chain, and are understood to have had their first date at Soho House’s Dean Street Townhouse in London.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex – who is close friends with owner Markus Anderson – has previously stayed at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds.

She shared Instagram snaps of her and Millie Mackintosh there back in 2016, when her romance with Harry was beginning.

HARRY’S DISGUISE? PRINCE SPORTS HAT AND SUNGLASSES

The accessories leave him almost unrecognisable to onlookers – and if the couple wanted to be enjoy their time together unbothered by royal fans, then perhaps this would be a perfect disguise for the Prince.

Meghan – with her hair in an elegant up-do appeared all smiles while gently holding Harry’s face in the image.

Harry and Meghan’s love affair emerged in late October 2016 – but in fact many of the clues were there for all to see on the Duchess’ hugely popular social media accounts.

Their romance appears to have began around six months earlier – around the time Harry went to Toronto to promote his Invictus Games for wounded servicemen and met the actress, who had a home in the city while filming hit TV show Suits there.

Meghan is thought to have enjoyed near-monthly visits to London after that and had even posted a picture of Buckingham Palace on Instagram in the July.

The same month she posted several pictures of recent trips to London, including a view that appears to be of Kensington, where Harry lived.

In the August she was back in London sightseeing near Tower Bridge and in September she also posted a picture of herself at the luxury Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire with friend Millie Mackintosh.

MEGHAN’S SCHOOL PHOTO

The childhood photos of Meghan (pictured) and Harry come towards the end of the trailer, which lasts for just over a minute

While the trailer included many moments from Harry and Meghan’s relationship, it also included many photographs of the pair during their childhood.

Several of Meghan’s school photos could be seen during the teaser, with the teenager appearing to be all smiles when looking at the camera.

Dressed in her school uniform, Meghan would opt between wearing her curly hair down and placing it in sensible up-do styles for her school images.

The Duchess attended Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles, so it’s likely the images were taken during those school years.

THE QUEEN’S IN-TRAY AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE

The couple is seen exiting Buckingham Palace’s garden entrance hand-in-hand. The Queen’s in-tray is set up on the windowsill on right side of the room

One of the previously unseen picture of the couple shows them leaving Buckingham Palace hand-in-hand.

This particular snap was taken from the Garden Entrance of the London royal residence and shows the Queen’s in-tray propped on the windowsill.

It is believed that the snap was taken during Harry and Meghan’s visit to the UK in March 2020, before they stepped out as senior royals, which has been dubbed their farewell tour.

This is where documents and other items would be left for the sovereign.

MEGHAN WEARS CANADIAN JUMPER

Elsewhere, it appears the Duchess’ fondness for Canada started when she was only a youngster.

One image shows a young Meghan wearing a bright yellow jumper with the flag of Canada embellished on it.

The mother-of-two is closely linked to Canada, especially Toronto, where she filmed her television show Suits and resided for numerous years.

Harry and Meghan also spent time in the country together before going public with their romance.

They also stayed in Canada, in a £10million [$14million] Vancouver Island mansion, after stepping back from their royal duties in January 2020, before later moving to the US.

PHOTO OF BABY MEGHAN

The trailer included a series of sweet childhood snaps of Meghan and Harry which have never been seen by the public

Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland also made an appearance during the explosive trailer, which aired early today, ahead of the programme’s release on Thursday.

A young Meghan, dressed in a striped outfit, is captured playing with her mother, who appeared to be in deep concentration.

The Duchess – who shares a close relationship with Doria – recently admitted her mother still calls her ‘Flower,’ even though she is 41.

The mother-of-two, who lives in Montecito, California, with Prince Harry, their son Archie, three, and daughter Lilibet, who is 17 months, opened up about her mother on her podcast Archetypes.

Speaking about the importance of nicknames with the Pose actress Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, she admitted that Doria still calls her by the nickname she came up for her as a child.

Meghan revealed she had no problem with the nickname, instead saying she loves it.

A FLOWER FOR MEGHAN?

In one selfie, Meghan beams into the camera while Prince Harry can be seen holding a number of flowers, apparently as a gift for the then-actress (pictured)

While it is not clear when exactly a number of the selfies featured in the trailer were taken, they appear to show the start of the Duke and Duchess’ blossoming romance.

In one intimate photograph, Meghan beams into the camera while Prince Harry can be seen holding a number of delicate flowers, perhaps as a gift for the then-actress.

She appears to be wearing a rain jacket in the black-and-white image, while Harry is relaxed in a comfortable t-shirt.

Appearing to be all smiles, Meghan wore a cap with her hair pulled back to add to her low-key look.

Harry, meanwhile, could be seen with his mouth open while standing in front of several buildings in an unknown location.

INSIDE FROGMORE KITCHEN

In the trailer, the Duke and Duchess provided viewers a snapshot of their trendy kitchen in their UK home. They shared two photos thought to have been taken in March 2019

The first black-and-white image shows the Duchess perched on the couple’s breakfast bar as she tosses her hair over her shoulder while Prince Harry leans against their oven

Harry and Meghan also offered fans a rare glimpse inside their glamorous kitchen at Frogmore Cottage.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent £2.4million renovating the Grade-II listed property on the Frogmore Estate in Windsor in 2019. In 2020, the couple announced they were stepping down as senior working royals and eventually relocated to Montecito California.

In the trailer, the Duke and Duchess provided viewers a snapshot of their trendy kitchen in their UK home. They shared two photos thought to have been taken in March 2019 – after they returned home from the Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall in London as part of their ‘farewell tour’.

The first black-and-white image shows the Duchess perched on the couple’s breakfast bar as she tosses her hair over her shoulder while Prince Harry leans against their oven. The trailer then immediately jumps to a photo of the couple sharing a quick kiss seconds later.

From the fleeting glance inside the couple’s home, it appears as though keen chef Meghan had given the old kitchen – which was built in 1801 – a modern update with industrial-style touches.

Interior designer Benji Lewis noted the property appears a far cry from their grand $14 million mansion in Santa Barbara.

He explained: ‘As a whole, whilst careful thought has clearly been given to the lighting, the kitchen has much more of a homely, downtime “undone” feel to it than anything super posh.’
