Simon Cowell got a stern telling off from Declan Donnelly during Friday night’s Britain’s Got Talent semi-final show after making cat noises down the microphone.
The judge, 63, began making odd sounds while fellow panellists Amanda Holden, 52, and Alesha Dixon, 44, gave their feedback following Romeo and Icy’s performance to One Direction’s Best Song Ever.
While Simon had praised the duo’s routine despite telling them that he doesn’t think they are the ‘best we’ve ever had’, Alesha and Amanda were harsher and said they were underwhelmed.
Clearly, not in agreement with them, Simon started purring.
While Alesha and Amanda paid the dad-of-one no mind, Dec was clearly irked and eventually called him out.
‘Simon, Simon,’ he said. ‘Can we hear what they’ve got to say to the guys please.’
Simon replied: ‘Oh, sorry!’
Viewers were also less than impressed by Simon’s behaviour with many branding the mogul ‘rude’ and ‘disrespectful’.
