Lil Wayne Delivers New Green Bay Packers Hype Song "Green and Yellow"

Lil Wayne has shared a new hype song for the Green Bay Packers entitled “Green and Yellow (Green Bay Packers Theme Song).”

Clocking in at just a little over three minutes, the new theme song follows up Weezy’s 2011 version but still hears him sample Wiz Khalifa‘s 2010 cut “Black And Yellow.” Appearing on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed, he said, “I want them to hear it and be ready to run through a wall. Me and Coach Matt been cool. I put a lot of time into it. I worked on it for 3 days and I usually don’t do that.”

Tunechi also touched on how he became a Packers fan, revealing that it started out with his dad. “My late father, Reginald McDonald, he attended that Super Bowl – he wasn’t a fan of any of the teams there. It was just so amazing that the Super Bowl was in New Orleans,” he explained, adding, “…He came home with Green Bay championship towels… cups, hats, anything that was being given, he had it, he brought it to the house. From that moment on, I was a Green Bay Packers fan.”
