Kid Cudi to Release Debut Mixtape 'A Kid Named Cudi' on Streaming Services

Early Kid Cudi fans will finally be able to properly listen to A Kid Named Cudi on streaming services.

Cudder took to Twitter to announce that he will be putting up the project on streaming, tweeting, “Workin on puttin A Kid Named Cudi on streaming services!! I got u!!” A scheduled release date was not announced, but it could take a while for the artist and his team to clear the 12 samples cleared.

A Kid Named Cudi dropped in July 2008 and marks Scott Mescudi’s debut mixtape and first official release. The project was met with critical praise and caught the ear of Kanye West, who signed Cudi to G.O.O.D. Music that same year. The 17-track mixtape includes early fan favorites such as “Day ‘n’ Nite” — which also served as the lead single of his debut studio album Man on the Moon: The End of Day — “50 Ways to Make A Record” and “Man on the Moon (The Anthem).”

Stay tuned for the release of A Kid Named Cudi on streaming.

In related news, Kid Cudi said that he is “not flattered” with the stripped down version of “Day ‘n’ Nite” on TikTok.
