Johnny Depp accuses ex-wife Amber Heard of stubbing out cigarette on his fac
Johnny Depp has accused Amber Heard of stubbing out a cigarette on his face and severing his finger with a glass bottle.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor, 56, has made new allegations about his ex-wife, 33, as part of a libel case, claiming that Amber became violent during their March 2015 fight in Australia.
Amber went ‘into a rage’ after a conversation with Johnny’s lawyers about his ‘intention to enter into a post-nuptial agreement’, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
The actor claimed he tried to ‘avoid’ Amber by going to the downstairs bar in the house. She followed him, screaming at him ‘abusively’ while Johnny ‘poured himself a vodka and drank it’, according to court filings.
Amber allegedly threw a battle at him and missed, before throwing a second bottle which smashed on a marble bar top, hit his hand and cut his finger.
‘Ms Heard then put a cigarette out on [Johnny’s] right cheek,’ the documents claimed.
A photo of Depp allegedly taken hours after the fight shows him lying on a stretcher with a bloodied and bandaged hand.
A small circular mark is visible on his right cheek, which Johnny’s lawyers alleged is the cigarette burn.
Depp was in a state of shock after Amber’s alleged assault and ‘wrote on a mirror and walls in blood and oil paint,’ the actor’s lawyers claimed.
They denied that he urinated in the house.
Amber’s attorney, Eric George, has denied the accusations, telling People: ‘This allegation is absurd, offensive and categorically untrue.
‘This photograph proves nothing – apart from the fact that Johnny Depp is desperate to throw out any outlandish allegation to deflect attention from his physical and ongoing psychological abuse of Amber Heard.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Amber and Johnny for further comment.
Amber filed for a domestic violence restraining order against Depp in May 2016, accusing him of abusing her.
Depp denied the claims, and the former couple settled their divorce out of court in August 2016 for £5.6million.
The actress wrote an op-ed in December 2018 alleging that she was a victim of domestic abuse, without naming her abuser.
The piece prompted Depp to launch a $50million (£40million) defamation lawsuit against the Danish Girl actress, claiming that her ‘fabricated domestic violence allegations are categorically and demonstrably false’.
In the lawsuit, he accused Amber of ‘painting on bruises’ after she appeared in court with a bruised face.
In March, he shared photos of his severed finger and claimed that he contracted MRSA several times in the following years after the alleged assault.
In response, Amber claimed in April that Depp became a ‘monster’ on drink and drugs and accused him of beating her, pulling out her hair and strangling her.
