Beats and L’Art de l’Automobile Present Pill+ Speaker to Elevate Your Road Trip

After collaborations with AMBUSH, Wasted Youth and fragment design in recent months, Beats has announced its latest partnership. The Apple-owned audio brand has recruited Parisian car dealership and streetwear label L’Art de l’Automobile to redesign the Pill+ speaker.

The collaboration is based around L’Art de l’Automobile’s Parisian roots, as well as Beats’ L.A. base, with the two labels looking to the importance of music when driving. The Paris-based label has also looked to vintage cars, with audio systems that are often not powerful for today’s needs. The collaborative Pill+ is therefore designed as a portable speaker to elevate the audio quality when driving.

Coming in a red-and-black color palette, the Pill+ is inspired by a mixture of modern and vintage cars. Stand-out features include a start/stop button taken from today’s vehicles, while a brake and gas button are used to change volume. The speaker is then finished with an embossed L’Art de l’Automobile logo.
