Renee Montoya is a “former GCPD officer who left the force when she could no longer stomach the corruption inside the GCPD. She now runs the ‘freaks division,’ which hasn’t seen a lot of action… until now. Righteous and pragmatic, and LGBTQ+, she’s a woman with a very personal (and mysterious) mission to help clean the streets of Gotham in the right way, by whatever means necessary.”
Victoria is actually no stranger to the role of Renee Montoya. She previously portrayed the character on Fox’s Gotham!
Although she’s playing the same character, the two shows are in no way connected.
You may also recognize Victoria from her recent roles on Fox’s Almost Family, AppleTV+’s Servant or on the first season of Manifest, which has remained a top ten title since dropping on Netflix.
If you missed it, Victoria is not the only person who was on Gotham that made their way over to Batwoman…
