Strictly Come Dancing’s head judge Shirley Ballas, 60, was spotted walking hand-in-hand with her boyfriend Danny Taylor, 48, as they attended the In The Heights screening at Back Yard Cinema in Wandsworth, London last night. It comes after the star sparked concern amongst her fans after sharing a video of herself in a hospital gown, suffering from a “shoulder and arm” issue this week.

Fortunately, Shirley seemed to be in good spirits as she attended the star-studded event.

The BBC favourite smiled for cameras while putting on a cosy display with her beau.

Shirley and Danny have been dating since 2019 after they first met during pantomime rehearsals for Jack And The Beanstalk.

The former professional dancer opted for off-duty style in skinny jeans, featuring floral embroidery on the leg, a navy blue T-shirt, and a white blazer.

She accessorised with red heels and gold jewellery while clutching onto a black handbag.

The Queen of Latin wore her brunette locks in glamorous curls and enhanced her features with smokey eyeshadow and pink lipstick.

Shirley’s beau Danny put on a dapper display in a navy blue suit, which he paired with a white unbuttoned shirt.

The couple were joined at the event by Shirley’s mum Audrey and they were seen posing for photos together.

Just hours before Shirley attended the screening, she took to social media to reveal she was in hospital.

Posting to her Instagram stories, the star told her 185,000 fans that she had started her day with a hospital visit yesterday, while wearing a face mask.

She captioned the clip: “Good morning, how’s your day going? Mine started with the hospital visit.”

She said: “So here we go again, in the hospital, with a shoulder and arm [problem] and I’m trying to find out what it is.”

Shirley explained that she was undergoing a series of scans to help get to the bottom of what the problem was.

The star continued: “Having an arthrogram or something done today, MRI’s and yes,” she said before quickly signing off.

Shirley was previously rushed to hospital with a broken ankle last year.

Taking to social media at the time, the star shared a clip of herself walking on crutches with her foot in a boot.

She wrote: “Hi everybody. I’ve just finished at A&E and I’ve got a clean break on my right ankle

“So a clean break. Six weeks to heal. Thank you to NHS and all staff who took care of me. @danieltayloresq thank you for being there.

“Painful but I’ll trolly on. #cleanbreak #brokenankle. I’ll be fine for @bbcstrictly thank you for all the messages. #gratitude.”

Danny also updated his followers on Shirley’s condition, as he uploaded photos of her during the hospital visit.

He said: “In A&E with this brave soldier @shirleyballas!

“You can never say it enough but thank you to our amazing #NHS for your time and care and of course all the sacrifices you all make on a daily basis to look after our country. #livingangels.”
