Prince Harry Meets with the President of Angola While Continuing Princess Diana’s Work in the Country

On Saturday, Prince Harry continued his royal tour of Africa with a second day in Angola.

The royal met with President João Lourenço on Saturday morning to thank him for welcoming him to the country.

The official Sussex Royal Instagram account commemorated the meeting with a photo of Harry and President Lourenço and explained that Harry’s time in Angola has been particularly important to Harry during the trip, as it’s given him a chance to continue his late mother Princess Diana’s work in the area.

On Friday, the Sussex Royal Instagram account shared photos of Harry visiting de-mining site, following in Diana’s footsteps.

“If an international ban on mines can be secured it means, looking far ahead, that the world may be a safer place for this generation’s grandchildren,” Diana said in 1997.

Harry is continuing Diana’s legacy in the best way.
