Holly Willoughby, 39, and Phillip Schofield, 58, struggled to contain their giggles as they tried to sing a Christmas carol together. The This Morning presenting duo dressed up in festive outfits in a short promotional video for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice 2021, which they host together each year.
The popular skating competition will be returning to screens on January 17.
Holly stunned in a white gown, accessorising with gold tinsel around her shoulders and reindeer ears on her head for the promo.
Phillip looked dapper in a black suit and tie, as he matched Holly with his own gold tinsel and reindeer ears.
The pair began the clip by bursting into laughter before Holly said: “Is it that time of year again?”

Phillip then replied in reference to the festive season: “It’s funny isn’t it? How quickly it comes around. It’s time to murder another carol.”
However, Holly was less than impressed by her co-presenter’s statement, insisting she has been practicing her singing for their duet.
The duo’s video then descended into chaos when Phillip’s phone started making a noise in the background, prompting more giggles.
“Actually that’s my phone, that’s my Ring Doorbell. Yeah, someone’s at the door. Santa’s arrived!” he said.
Phillip then joked about which key Holly would be leading with so he can follow along with her.
The star quipped in response: “You know, I’m not a West End star like you but I just naturally can pull those notes out of the bag.”
Holly and Phillip then began to belt out Ding Dong Merrily on High.
When they attempted the Christmas classic’s high note of Gloria, they collapsed into hysterics.

“Oh it’s so bad! Who am I trying to kid?” Holly admitted.
Phillip agreed and hit out at her singing voice, adding: “It was so s**t!”
He revealed: “It’s the worst we’ve ever done in all the years we’ve been doing it.”
Fortunately, Holly didn’t seem to be too offended by Phillip’s comment about her vocals as she shared the clip on her Instagram feed in view of her seven million followers.
Mocking her own mishap, the star wrote: “All together now… @dancingonice will be back on your screens before you know it! …
“I’ll keep practicing my singing between now and then…” alongside two laughing emojis.
Fans took to the comments section of Holly’s post to share their thoughts on the hilarious moment.
One person wrote: “I actually think you have improved since last year.”
Another added: “If anyone can make us laugh it is you two, we forget everything else! Thank you for being amazing xxxx.”
