Millie Mackintosh hires night nanny to help look after newborn after C-section

Millie Mackintosh has revealed she hired a night nanny to help her look after her newborn baby Aurelia “a few nights a week”.

The 32 year old Made in Chelsea star, who is married to Hugo Taylor and recently shared the adorable images of first daughter Sienna, meeting her baby sister for the first time, underwent a caesarean section during labour for her little girl, announcing she'd given birth on 30 November.

After the initial excitement and whirlwind of welcoming her second daughter into the world, the heiress decided to do a Q&A on her Instagram page so she could give an update to her fans.

In one question, the model was asked if she has had any help and support after giving birth to her newborn tot, particularly in the way of nannies.

Following a C-section, doctors regularly advise mothers to wait four to six weeks for their scars to heal before they lift their new baby or do anything strenuous, but Millie's doctor has also advised she doesn't lift her one year old daughter Sienna.

“I have a wonderful day time nanny and have also been using a night nanny a few nights a week to catch up on some sleep which has been a big help!” the star shared on her Stories.

She explained that husband Hugo was only able to get two weeks paternity leave to help with the children, but he was a big support along with her mum and close friends.

“After my C section I’ve been told not to lift Sienna for 6 weeks so having someone around to help has been essential,” Millie went on, revealing that it would have been impossible to take care of two little ones alone in her condition.

Despite that, fans have seen the star share a number of snaps of her holding Aurelia in a sling on her Instagram page.

One person asked: "Can I ask how you are finding the carrier so soon after a section ! ? Mine was Tuesday and i am still in loads of pain xx," to which Millie replied the picture was actually taken two weeks after the birth.

"This was two weeks after my c section, I didn’t find it painful but was exhausted afterwards and only walked for 20 mins x," the star explained.

“I feel very lucky to have a great support network especially with an energetic toddler running around!” the new mum added.

Alongside her comment, Millie also shared an adorable image of her out for a walk with baby Aurelia and Sienna in tow.

Aurelia was tucked up in a navy blue pram wearing a powder blue knitted onesie outfit, and slept soundly while her elder sister enjoyed some fun at the park behind her.

Sienna wore a matching baby pink puffa coat and wellies, as well as a lavender hair bow and knitted tights for her walk, her blonde wavy locks loose and natural in the cold snap.

The cute little girl seemed to be having a wonderful time feeding the pigeons as she faced a flock of birds behind a railing.
