Kate Bosworth to Star in Netflix Movie from ‘To All the Boy’s Writer!

Kate Bosworth is heading to Netflix!

It has been announced that the 38-year-old actress will be starring in the upcoming movie adaption of the young adult novel Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen heading to Netflix, Deadline reports.

The movie will be written and directed by Sofia Alvarez, who wrote the screenplays for Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. This will mark Sofia‘s directorial debut.

Kate will star in the movie alongside Andie MacDowell, Dermot Mulroney, Black Lighting actress Laura Kariuki, Save by the Bell actor Belmont Cameli, and Am I OK? actress Emma Pasarow.

Along for the Ride “centers on Auden (Pasarow), who during the summer before college meets the mysterious Eli (Cameli), a fellow insomniac. While the seaside town of Colby sleeps, the two embark on a nightly quest to help Auden experience the fun, carefree teen life she never knew she wanted.”

Last summer, Kate had a virtual reunion with the cast of one of her most beloved movies!
