Justin Bieber appears tense as he emerges after defending Scooter Braun

Justin Bieber headed out with wife Hayley this week, after becoming embroiled in the feud raging between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun.

The singer appeared tense as he headed out into the Californian sunshine in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, just a day after sticking up for his manager Scooter.

The Biebs became a punching bag of sorts by Taylor’s fans after he attempted to apologise to the hitmaker, before turning it around and slamming her for coming for Scooter – amid Tay’s claims the mogul bought her early masters from underneath her without warning.

After contesting her claims and sticking up for his mate, Justin headed out in a baggy white t-shirt (with an ET-era Drew Barrymore on the front, no less) and shorts this week, while Hailey rocked a red bandeau and jean shorts.

The model also put herself in the ring firmly as team Scooter when she responded to her husband’s post with: ‘Gentleman.’

Hailey then found herself in the firing line, as the other side prepared for battle – with Cara Delevingne outwardly disagreeing with her comment.

‘Gentleman? @haileybieber @justinbieber you must be bored,’ the model commented on Instagram. ‘I wish you spent less time sticking up for men and more time trying to understand women and respecting their valid reactions.

‘As a married man, you should be lifting women up instead of tearing them down because you are threatened. I am not sure you actually understand what an apology is.

‘This issue that @taylorswift is talking out is about far more than a picture and you know that.’

On her Tumblr page, Taylor accused Scooter of ‘bullying’ her in the wake of the news that he bought her catalogue when his company purchased Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine Label Group, the singer’s former label.

Big Machine owns the singer’s back catalogue from her 2006 debut album to Reputation which was released in 2017. Criticising Borchetta, the ME! singer said: ‘This is what happens when you sign a deal at fifteen to someone for whom the term “loyalty” is clearly just a contractual concept.’

Since then it seems she’s been surrounded by a throng of supporters, with the likes of Halsey, Harry Styles and Little Mix all deleting Scooter from social media in the wake of the palaver.

Halsey wrote a post about it, backing Taylor and saying: ‘Taylor Swift is a huge reason why I always insisted to write my own music. I believed if she did it than I should too.’

That’s not to say Scooter doesn’t have his own power players in his corner, with Sia coming out in defence of the manager.

She’s been joined by Demi Lovato, while Ed Sheeran, who counts Taylor as a mate but is also tight with Scooter is being ever the diplomat after saying he’s speaking with Taylor privately.
