EastEnders Natalie Cassidys sweet message for sis whos always there for advice
EastEnders favourite Natalie Cassidy has paid tribute to beloved sister-in-law Linda Cassidy on her 60th birthday.
Married to the 40 year old's brother David, Linda took centre stage in a gushing Instagram post on Thursday, complete with a gallery of selfies and family photos.
"Happy 60th birthday to my sister in law @linny_cass," the caption started.
"She isn't really a sister in law. She's my sis. We speak most days and she has known me for most of my life. Always there for advice and support. We laugh a lot about everything. She is the most driven, capable, kind and fun person I know.
"The original Mrs Hinch – (taken from a poem her daughters wrote) she whizzes [around] pleasing everyone and I'm proud to share my life with you. Happy birthday Linny. Have the best day and I can't wait to be away next week with you for the wedding."
The soap star's followers echoed these birthday wishes, yet they couldn't believe Linda's age.
"That's an autocorrect surely.. no way she's 60!! You mean 40 right?!!" asked one individual, before four more added: "Wow you sure she's 60, happy birthday though", "NO WAY is she 60!!!! What a beaut!", "60 wow she looks incredible" and "Happy Birthday Linny, hope you have a fab day."
Further complimentary comments read: "My god she looks blooming amazing, I thought it was Louisa Lytton upon first glance", "No way is she 60 wow. Happy birthday", "You look like actual sisters, not in laws! And you look fab for 60!!", "Wow Libby you look way younger than 60!!", "How is she sixty? Does she have an evil portrait in the attic?" and "There is no way this lady is 60!! She looks FAB! X".
Natalie herself celebrated a milestone birthday just recently, and was pictured letting her hair down with fellow EastEnders regulars Jamie Borthwick, Jessie Wallace, Lacey Turner, Emma Barton, James Farrar, Lorraine Stanley and Danielle Harold for a wild night of fun.
Danielle, 31, who played the tragic Lola Pearce on the square, she revealed just over a week ago that her first day on EastEnders was nothing short of a disaster.
“Obviously I was very new and when you come to EastEnders, there is a lot to learn very quickly. We film so fast, you haven't really got a choice but to just learn really quickly. But I learned all the wrong scenes on my first day," she recalled.
"I ended up being on set with Perry [Fenwick, aka Billy Mitchell] and it was Jo Joyner [who played Tanya Branning] at the time, they started running this scene, and I just looked at Perry. I didn't say anything. I just shook my head and he went 'do you not have that?' and I went 'no' and he was like, 'don't worry, it's gonna be fine'.
"So I had to learn the whole day's filming on the day. It was the worst first day, but the best way to learn."
