Carol Vorderman, 60, has admitted she once had to return a statue to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here. The presenter opened up about the mishap to her followers on Instagram after a candid Q&A.

Carol shared a picture on Instagram of what her friend Sam Quek had replied to her question.

She had asked her 111,000 followers: “What have you dragged home in the early hours?”

Former professional hockey player Sam had written: “A bust from the Jungle Arms only for the crew to take it off us.”

Carol then revealed the full hilarious story about what happened.

She wrote: “Omg this is from Sam Quek @samquek13.

“When she and I were on @imacelebrity down under we had to win a night at the ‘Jungle Arms’.

“Sam ended up splitting her pants and I ended up on the floor trying to rip the hole bigger with her screaming ‘get off my a*** Carol Vorderman.’

“Then we nicked a statue (so drunk on two glasses after 3 weeks of no booze) and had to give it back….boooooooooo.”

Carol appeared on I’m A Celeb back in 2016 where she placed eighth on the show.

While Sam went on to place fourth on the series, which was won by Scarlett Moffatt.

As fans of the series will know, The Jungle Arms is a pub in the hit series, which the contestants sometimes get to enjoy.

However, many will not remember how eventful it was for the former Countdown star.

Carol also took to her stories to reveal she couldn’t share some of the other responses she had to her question.

She divulged: “You’re cracking me up laughing.

“I can’t share most of the rude ones that you dragged home stories… bloomin’ heck!

“But they are funny so thank you for that. I’ve got the best followers defo.”

Elsewhere, Carol has teased a return to television on social media.

This came as she shared a picture of herself in a figure-hugging gold metallic dress.

Alongside it, she captioned: “Just finished recording a show and wore an actual dress.”

However, she’s yet to share exactly what the latest project was for her.
