BBCs Nina Warhurst shares state of home after running out of money

Pregnant Nina Warhurst heckled at during live broadcast on BBC Breakfast

Nina Warhurst took to Instagram today and revealed her family is currently in the process of transforming their home but they are unable to complete the project.

The BBC Breakfast presenter said the work is far from being completed and it often gets her down.

It comes as Nina, 42, recently announced she is pregnant with her third child.

The broadcaster is happily married to her husband Ted, who is a caterer, and the couple already shares two sons together.

Taking to the picture-sharing site, Nina told her 21,000 followers: “Almost two years in this bladdy house and we’ve run out of budget with a loooooong way to go, which sometimes gets me down. BUT…”(sic)

The post was accompanied by a photo of one of the rooms in her property which showcased the unfinished building work.

However, in a follow up Instagram Story, she shared some of the positives as it appeared her unborn baby’s nursery was complete as well as the bathroom.

She posted a snap of a bassinet beside a large bay window, and Nina penned: “There is a crack in everything…”

In another snap showing the newly furnished bathroom, she finished: “…it’s where the lights get in.”

Earlier this year, the BBC host shared the celebratory news that she is expecting her third child.

The presenter revealed that after months of “vomiting and migraines” she discovered she was expecting with her husband Ted.

She shared a beaming snap of herself posing in a skin-tight black dress, while cradling her growing baby bump in the BBC studio.

Nina penned on Instagram: “Happy Mother’s Day to all of those who are any part of this endless handover of love, values, genes, chaos and perpetually crumb-infested kitchens.

“I’d like to say ‘you got this Mama!’ But maybe you haven’t. I dunno. It’s hard isn’t it?”

She signed off by adding: “Sending love to those who’ve had to say goodbye to the babies they lost and the ones they dreamed of.”

Nina and Ted are proud parents of their boys named Digby and Michael.

The couple are very private about their children, but we do know that her eldest was born in 2016, while her youngest arrived in 2018.

BBC Breakfast airs daily on BBC One at 6am.
