Ashley Cain has revealed the first time he has smiled since losing his baby daughter Azaylia to a rare form of leukaemia last month.
The former Ex On The Beach star posted a video of the sky turning a bright orange as the sun set to his Instagram stories, and wrote: “The heavens continue to shine orange for Azaylia. I love you princess. You're forever in my heart. Keep smiling, keep shining bright. I miss you. Daddy.”
He then shared another clip of an almost clear blue sky and wrote: “One minute later and gone. You couldn’t explain this. I love you baby.”
Ashley quickly shared a post following the event, writing: “That was the first time I’ve smiled since that day.
“The first time I’ve felt happiness since that day. She filled me with so much belief when she was here and she’s still doing it from the heavens above.
“I don’t know how you do it Azaylia but please keep on making us believe. Your legacy will live on and within that legacy you will help, inspire, strengthen and save so many lives.”
Ending with: “OI’m so proud of you champ. So, so proud!”
Ashley and his partner Safiyya Vorajee tragically lost Azaylia on Saturday 24th April aged just eight months, following a battle with leukaemia.
Azaylia was just eight weeks old when she was diagnosed with the rare disease and despite a brave battle put on by the little girl, the cancer spread and treatments stopped working.

The 30 year old wrote: “I wanted to take this time to give thanks for all your love, care and support for Azaylia throughout her battle and still now for us as a family.
“I am broken and hurting more and more everyday right now, but I made a promise to my daughter that I would keep her name alive by continuing to help other children, adults and their families during their own battles and I will honour that promise util I see her again.”
